From my initial play around of the RECT pack, it's fuller and more organic sounding. The York stuff is more articulate and punchy, to me anyway. Both are great.
Now, I would like to see a video where you compare the Mesa and orange essentials pack so we can hear the difference between the cabs. But I have to say, these packs really sound good!
Great video! You always make these sound great. I actually just bought the new RECT Essentials IRs last week. 😅 How would you say these compare to the newer RECT IRs?
I bought them based on his last video and yeah they're fantastic. It's awesome to just have one easy IR to use with my Axe now that I know just sounds great live right out of the box.
Hey Jon, that sounded awesome. I also love Orange...did you ever try the pedal baby 100 as a modeler power amp? Would be cool to hear what you think about it
How does this and the Mesa from the OH Essentials compare to the Orange from the Heavy Hitters collections? I know it’s a new V7 but does it make THAT big of a difference?
Orange cabs seem to have this mid-forward nature that works perfectly in certain contexts! How would you say it compares to the rest of the Orange cabs in the OwnHammer catalogue?
Would love a comparison of the ownhammer orange irs (og 412 orng, 212 orng and essentials) with the york orange irs - assuming there's a 57 + 121 mix in all of the packs. This pack in particular sounds most similar to the workhorse pack but since the cabs aren't specified it would be a difficult comparison.
Honestly, trying to get through the workhorse V30 pack is a nightmare. You kinda just have to try them all manually and hope to find what you wanted. Funky names are cool and all, but man, it would make it a lot easier if they just gave us a list of the actual cabs used.
@@void_snw Agreed. Using descriptive words that explain a cab isn't quite the same as just saying what the cabs are. At least with saying the name you have a notion of what it's supposed to sound like (if you have experience with it)
Would you say that those Orange Irs are sounding „better“ than those from york audio? I am still searching for the best Orange IR and didnt tried the ownhammer yet
Time to do a York vs OwnHammer duel with same cab plus mic IRs!!
Mic position / taste will play a big role, but these new OH files seem promising. I'd definitely be up to see some comparisons!

@@seanmorgan9020 Ownhammer and York both have golden ears for sure!
@@ibanezman1025 Exactly, both are excellent choices! GOTTA CATCH 'EM ALL!
Wow, i luv ownhammer, great sound SDS 🍻🍻🍻
Just have to point out. You always do great playing in a style that the gear really works well with. Great job!
Thanks!
Oh wow, another new OH essentials set. Can we expect more? I'd love to see some new Marsh IRs with cream backs :)
The previous ownhammer orange 412 ir's were my go-to's for everything. excited to try these out
You won't be disappointed
Damn! The Rockerverb always sounds so awesome!!
Now, I would like to see a video where you compare the Mesa and orange essentials pack so we can hear the difference between the cabs.
But I have to say, these packs really sound good!
Sounds killer yet again!
Just sick!

Same level of awesomeness!

Some more Engl and Bogner stuff would be nice.
I still think the YorkAudio Orange IRs are hard to beat, but these do sound good.

More balanced and more versatile
I would love to know what you think of the York Audio ORNG 412 impulse responses.

These are the best Orange IRs I ever tried tbh
It has been a year since your comment, did you try ownhammer orange ir and how do they compare to yourk audio ones?
