It’s interesting watching a Rookie start this game.
I have about 200 hours playing and have watched many veterans play.
I won’t try to suggest anything as it would take to long.
Enjoy the journey. It’s a great game.

1- it looks like you May Be at the edge of the map to the left. IDK … Try a bit of Exploring.
2- Farms later …. To early now.
3- Early game Need Hunters … 2-3 for Food & Foragers.

wells are getting bigger water bonus when trees are around btw, maybe because of tree roots or smth.
also KEEP AN EYE ON fields fertility! every planting thingy has its on fertility modifier, rye for example is -4 fortility if you move your mouse on top of it, and clover has +3, make sure that in 3 year cycle fertility grows or is stable, i would recommend keep growing it since low fertility will eventually make yield so low that its not worth to maintain it. Having buildings close to each other only benefits you in future since you will have more free land, its because of desirebility, more it and shelters can upgrade to large house, at the end even manors. Having them close to townhall at the start is best way. also its more benefical to have largest size of field at the start and keep like 4 people maintain is, it will yield more and needs less workers to it. I suggest pressing F I G, G Toggles Desirability, F Toggles Fertility and with i you can see water bonus, you can also relocate hunters,fisherman, foraging etc working area without even moving a building!

hunting cabins near the deer and there is a lake near you to the bottom right you can get good source of food from fisherman, love your channel

Fyi, if you place something over trees/rocks the workers will automatically remove the trees/rocks before building. You don't have to remove the resources before placing.

If you want to see some bold deer, look up Nara, Japan. I was just there yesterday and the deer there have been living among the humans near Todaiji Temple for a while now. They will come up to you and let you pet or take pictures of them. There are various stands around the area that sell deer treats. If you have these treats, the deer will swarm around you and bow until you feed them. It's quite a magical place!
That’s so cool
The trick to this game is knowing what the raiders want so those structures can be placed near the town center and towers where soldiers can protect them. Otherwise, it has a heavy focus on trade. Last year I was able to protect a lot of the critical structures, mostly where the food was, with the short walls I thought was for decoration more than defense. Raiders also like gold.

Lotr battle for middle earth two was close to a SIM building game but more towards battling, was an amazing game

The amazing thing about this game is that the developers' previous (and still updated) game was Grim Dawn, a Diablo-style ARPG which is widely considered one of the best in recent years.
In fact, if you look closely at the models, there's lots of small stylistic similarities between Farthest Frontier and Grim Dawn. Like if these houses were burnt out and zombies and bodies were strewn about it would look straight out of Grim Dawn.

The volume is almost loud enough for me, but I could use a bit more. I have enjoyed this game in the recent past, mostly last year, but it isn't multiplayer, so I haven't played it for a while. At present, I am focused on an older game named Planentbase that was made public back in 2015 and has been updated a few times. It is also a single player game, but can be difficult to complete all 10 milestones. It can easily take more than 30 hours to play through, but normally the settlement fails since it is so fragile.

Maybe you can try to build fences around the fields to prevent the deer from eating your crops? It would also help the hunter so he can hunt in other places where there are more animals. Also loved the video, keep it up!
Fences are a requirement, so he will have to get them in before much longer.

Trees or stone in the way are not a problem, the people will harvest the material for use in the buildings.

I’ve found that fishing does pretty good for food if you find a lake and forager cabin to get some greens and herbs for medicine.

I like when the villagers have to go back home to change into their winter clothes, makes the game even more realistic.
Have you tried out frostpunk? Free on game pass. I played it for a few months, it was unbelievably fun. A good mix of relaxed city building and difficult multitasking. One of the best late night games I’ve played in a long time

Hey Pixelated Apollo, why don't you like the new total wars like three kingdoms, and Troy? I get you don't like heros and stuff but they both have a historical mode which puts the heros in bodyguard units and gets rid of most of there abilities. Just wondered what you thought.
Regardless of bodyguards or not the game look like a cartoon. The mechanics are stale and surface level. The armor looks like anime
