I really enjoy watching you and Nikki together. But as an old married man I want to give you a little advice. Marry that girl! You have found a soul mate that loves adventure as much as you do. Now that you have a child together give the child a true family dynamic. A family adventure. I hope I didn’t step too far out of line.
Hanny here . This day was fun hahahahaha. No worries everyone. The water was going oke under the house. Everything must go out . He dont want it . But he must do it hahahaahahah. I always let him run . 😂😂.
The nether regions of the Netherlands!!!! lol Leigh you are so funny. You are always picking on your friends . It’s a good thing they all understand you. Love your enthusiasm
Good heavens! Not so Handy Hanni today! It was swell having my lunch and thinking about old, hot, prawn water at the same time. Hanni and Wim - what characters. They really do give you a hard time, Leigh!
Always start with the lowest radiator! Then there will be no more water in the other ones! I've got electric flootheating, that's mutch better than the one on gas! When you have solarpannels on your roof, they provide enough to run for your floorheating!
Every time Henny comes over he gets bloody 😂 if I was him I'd be on my gard all day. Excellent video awesome content thank you for sharing this with us six stars my friends
Oh by the way, the receptacle you were catching water in is not a plate 😮 or a frying pan 😂 but a sauce pan. Nikki give him some lessons in kitchen cookware, please.
The trouble with deciding on the heating is that you cannot guess what the prices will be in the future. We were planning on underfloor electric heating but now the electricity is so expansive. Heat pumps installed would cost 10.000€ but wont work in really cold weather. We live in Finland. Solar power wont give enough power. It is a conundrum.
In my days. We go to the base to release the pressure and water will drain into base, ent from pressure then unbolting the radiator. It less to pour out water.
@@NickyandLeigh right yeah. We used a bin from a cement tray to catch all the water. But at times it will flow where you don’t think it will. Good luck on you home improvements
Hi guys! I´m from Argentina, and i do enjoy your videos. The way that all of you work together seems to be a game betwen friends. I´d love to meet you all some day! yiiiiuuu🤙
How it`s going, i have follow this "fixing upper" and bin there, done that several times. I living in my house number six. And now i live in a house bulidt in 1813, authentic... Timber walls and old floors... Love it. (sorry for my broken engelish)
You should have a bunch of towels to help soak up that water off that floor and don't just let it sit there or your going to have more things to replace always when doing any type of plumbing you should have a bunch of towels buckets if the bucket doesn't fit under there use a smaller pan and dump it into the bucket that way your not making 90 trips and the water not going everywhere
Ohh Geeze!! What a mess!! I wondered how you managed with your house renovations. I hope you will show more. I would love to see more of the baby too!!😊
Keep up the great work! I have binged watch all your videos here and bondi treasure in 6 days, and ive ran out! 😂 im sad ive got nothing to watch! Have to be patient 😅 send best wishes from UK ❤
Leigh you're such a hoot running around with your pot! I get it though, its always something when you own a home. And Nikki, you're as beautiful as ever! Lv your videos, thank you! Blessings from New Hampshire t!!
Love your perfect first home, i cant imagine the regulations in aus trying to reno a house thats a classic. But love the design of the place. I really hope u are able to live in it now Johnny Born. Gota be safe to breathe in,so slow steedy wins the race! Gr8 to see Nicky Finally not work. Nicky stop 'nesting' stress it time let boys do work & u tell em what to do.. sit down legs up, demand action, lol! Your bub vid, shows your perfect family. So many gr8 wishes for u all 🎉
Here in Denmark we closes for the water out near the sidewalk or between that and the house. But good luck with everything Leigh and Nicky. Best from Denmark
Hi, Nicky, Leigh and Hannie. First of all, I'm surprised you didn't cap off all but one of those radiator pipes (leaving one with a hose attached to an outside drain). Anyway, you've got all the radiators out and that's the important thing. Btw, when you were carrying the first lot of radiators out, I thought I saw an extra room to the left. A closer look revealed it was just a reflection in the mirror that was leaning against the wall 🤦♂️ Thanks for sharing 👍
@NickyandLeigh To be fair, I only knew about the capping thing due to a similar but very much worse experience 🌊🤦♂️ while helping friends remove all the old radiators from a 2-storey house.
Did you close off the water itself? If not then it can easily keep running depending on how they were constructed. 14:23 That brown metal thing there, you have one upstairs as well. So I'm guessing the one upstairs is empty, if it is it could possibly be removed saving space. I however strongly advice to get a professional in on it and not to mess with it on your own!
There will always be some water held in radiators even if the system has been drained, that, as you saw, may only show itself when 2 fittings have been opened, to allow the air through it. Anyone else trying to do the same with their heating system, leave the hose attached to the drain point & with the drain open as you disconnect the radiators so that when the air gets into the system from the opened fittings, the released water can flow out of the hose rather than all over the floor!!!😂 If you struggled with the smell of radiator water, despite all your canal water experience, wait until you have to do anything with the kitchen sink waste pipes!!!! If you're thinking electric heating then definitely look at both heat pumps & solar panels, get the most possible for free 😊
Hey you two! I haven't seen a house update in about a month! Okay, I know that Leigh is out magnet fishing, and the baby is certainly a priority, but what's going on with the house?
🤙🤙 All the best pal. I wish you and your family well. As a Plumber I'm laughing my ass off.😂 P.s...all machines need a fuel tank even Hanney😀 Thanks for the entertainment. 🤙🤙

Hilarious watching Leigh running around in a panic over a bit of water with his little saucepan.
😂😂😂
Hard to believe there wasn't an empty bucket or pail laying around.
@alanatolstad4824 I can't believe he didn't just open a window and throw it out that way rather than run through the house with it.
🤣🤣🤣
I didn’t expect so much water to come out and didn’t have anything bigger than a saucepan! 😂😂
Hanny here . This day was fun hahahahaha. No worries everyone. The water was going oke under the house. Everything must go out . He dont want it . But he must do it hahahaahahah. I always let him run . 😂😂.
Great tan ! x
Nicky on filming duty and the camera didn’t land in the water 😂
😂😂😂😂
Shoutout to Henny (sp) for his help!! ❤
He’s a legend for helping us out 😃🙌🙌
Oh man I was cracking up laughing at Leigh running around with is pot
Poor Nicki, when I was pregnant my sense of smell was fierce! If Leigh was complaining, yikes!
Leigh you made me smile with the running water 💦 and the bad fish 🐠 smell.
OMG. Leigh is so dramatic. The house is flooded. Look close or you might miss the water. 🤣
It was everywhere! 😂😂
The nether regions of the Netherlands!!!! lol Leigh you are so funny. You are always picking on your friends . It’s a good thing they all understand you. Love your enthusiasm
Nothing ever goes easy in construction - or demo. Can’t wait to see the progress and your decision on how to heat the house.
I wish I lived closer so I could help. I'm a house painter by trade, but I've learned a lot of tricks from contracting.
I wish you lived closer too! But thanks very much for the offer anyway 😃🙌
Good heavens! Not so Handy Hanni today! It was swell having my lunch and thinking about old, hot, prawn water at the same time. Hanni and Wim - what characters. They really do give you a hard time, Leigh!
Oh leigh your 2 videos today involving disaster with water 😂
It wasn’t very lucky both times! 😂😂😂
@NickyandLeigh it sure wasn't but luck is near I can feel it
🤣😂🤣
Baby hilarious bump! Hopefully you had the house liveable before Johnny was born!
😊❤️🤙
Hennie is so gorgeous!!
😘
His smile , I can tell he's a charmer 😂🥰

Awesome, thanks for letting us know! 😃
@@NickyandLeigh a bit to late, the damage is already done..😘🤪
Beautiful johnny is here already we need to see more videos
We’ll do our best but it’s even busier with a baby! 😂
Oh I'm so glad it wasn't really a flood! Phew!
Quite the job removing the heaters that were still full of water. Glad to see that the progress so far.
all that water !!!! you should throw a magnet in it !!
Every time Henny comes over he gets bloody 😂 if I was him I'd be on my gard all day. Excellent video awesome content thank you for sharing this with us six stars my friends
😂😂
De vloer is behoorlijk scheef, zoals je ziet hoe het water zijn weg zoekt door de kamer heen.
Oh by the way, the receptacle you were catching water in is not a plate 😮 or a frying pan 😂 but a sauce pan. Nikki give him some lessons in kitchen cookware, please.
no need to be discourage.. have faith in your own house...will be worth it
I would love to help, wish I were there. 😮
Hello Leigh and Nicky 😊 Good luck and finish the house soon, I wish you both all the best.👍😎🇪🇦

Heat pumps installed would cost 10.000€ but wont work in really cold weather. We live in Finland. Solar power wont give enough power. It is a conundrum.
It really is difficult to decide what to do, we’d like to have solar panels in the future so electric floor heating sounds pretty good 😃
In my days. We go to the base to release the pressure and water will drain into base, ent from pressure then unbolting the radiator. It less to pour out water.
We let the lowest radiator drain out into the toilet but there was still a lot of water left! We didn’t expect it as you can tell 😂
@@NickyandLeigh right yeah. We used a bin from a cement tray to catch all the water. But at times it will flow where you don’t think it will. Good luck on you home improvements
Hi I've have alreadseen this video. I so would love to see more of the house and your beautiful baby before he gets too old 🤗🫂🇨🇦
I am very excited to see what happens next 😀
Bonjour a tous pas encore fini votre belle maison
Henny is being realistic trust me it's not easy. But you guys will get there.

air to water is the best one ......
Live and learn!
Reverse kanga: "laying faeces across the front side of the porcelain. Often done to spite someone" Alrighty then xD
You really like playing with water both episodes 🤣😂🤣😂❤️
I live in a property that is electric only. When we have a power cut, I have no hot water or heating. I think solar panels are the best option.
Hi ya have ya managed to finish your new home yet🤟❤love watching this 🎉
Another great video. Look forward to seeing the progress.
Bless you beautiful style creative and all be well u have come along way, inspiring 🌟🌟🌟

Well definitely show more! We’ve just been so busy but we’re filming the whole process so more videos are coming 😃🏡
HennyTO the RESCUE!!! 😂😂😂😅😅😅😊😊😊😊
use 2 pots instead of just 1. And you can also toss the water out the door right there.
Keep up the great work!

Henny is handsome! Good work guys!
Hello when possible can you all have Nicky sister Flori make at least a cameo appearance she is a hoot . Leigh baby bump and Henny comparison funny .
I’ll let her know 😃🤙🤙

Get another pan , rotate them and then dump them out the window! You could also collect the water in your shop vac.

Gebruik electriciteit. Met zonnepanelen kom je dan een eind.

We did drain the radiators before but clearly not everything came out 😂
@NickyandLeigh To be fair, I only knew about the capping thing due to a similar but very much worse experience 🌊🤦♂️ while helping friends remove all the old radiators from a 2-storey house.
I got a Mini-Split system. Cools and heats.
Another leg on the journey!! Wonder if you’ll be in the house for Johnny’s 1st birthday? 😅😂
Yes that water is rotten egg smell. 🤣Fun to watch still. I had a flot in my kitchen at 1.30 at night because a thing broke down. Clean water still.
Did you close off the water itself? If not then it can easily keep running depending on how they were constructed.

Cc avant il fallait coupé eau de la chaudière après faire la vidange d 'air et dévisser les tuyaux sous la maison 😅
eek! 😬 in my experience, you get a plumber to drain the central heating system using a pump… never mind 😅
I watched this a few days ago, barely had any views compared to the others, so,strange. Bum had thought this was current. 😊❤
😂❤awesome guys! That hole, in the floor is there just for that❤
Mop and bucket to aisle 3

Leigh the DIY nightmare! Why didn't you have buckets ready....Never mind Nikki it will be lovely when its finished...
We already drained the radiators before so we didn’t know there was still so much water left 😂
Leigh, your nose you be attuned to foul smells as a seasoned magnet fisher! 😆😆
Ohhhh noooooo....I spoke too soon!!!!!
Luv You guys!
Thanks very much we appreciate your support 😃
Leigh, don't any of the windows open?
No! 😂I think the old owners got robbed one time and they went a little overboard to make sure it wouldn't happen again. 🤯
That was my thought. On the plus side, he got his steps in.
Must be hard not near beach to go for a surf hey leigh, i found that torture when i moved to central vic many years ago but always drawn back!
❤
Good luck with the mold after that 😅
Prawns at Christmas 🤤
No heatwave in Ireland yet😂😂
Hello 👋 ❤❤😊😊😊
Is look into ductless for heating/ac if that’s an option where you are. Keep up the good work
Hey you two! I haven't seen a house update in about a month! Okay, I know that Leigh is out magnet fishing, and the baby is certainly a priority, but what's going on with the house?
That water was as black as the water in the canal at the collab a couple of years ago mate!
It really was! 😅
you have to call for reinforcements, if you continue like this it will take forever 🏡🙈
Imagine leaving christmas dinner leftovers in the bin on a warm summer day?? We don't have such christmasses here, dude!
Henny, in America, they'd say that paunch "is paid for"!
Good Lord Almighty
What's the grate on the floor when you leat the house? To trap dirt?
🤙🤙
All the best pal.
I wish you and your family well.
As a Plumber I'm laughing my ass off.😂
P.s...all machines need a fuel tank even Hanney😀
Thanks for the entertainment.
🤙🤙
We had hot water radiators in a house once. I vouch for the smelly water in them. Lol
It smells so bad 😂
I am laughing with Hanni.
Why did you not turn off water from mains water
Ik vraag me af wanneer jullie beginnen met opbouwen. Het enige wat jullie tot nu toe gedaan hebben is slopen.
should have took wall out around stairs, and turned stairs around, so you didnt have to shut door before being able to use stairs,
I have faith that that house is going to be beautiful when you're done with the👷♂️ remodel😅
What are you going to do for heat, Leigh? No smell a vision?
love watching u guys..could get a good buck at scap yard for throse radiaters
What is your current projected finish and moving in date?
I thought henny was a restorer 🤔 he’s more of a demolisher 😂😂😂
I don't know if Henny will survive the renovation!
