These guys were my very first concert which I believe was 1982? They opened up for Ozzy on the Speak of the Devil tour. Very good band and surprised how good they were live.
I saw this band in the early eighties support Michael Schenker I think it was, and remember thinking at the time that he was a fantastic guitar player and thought he would go on to do huge things . . . . forgot all about him, then he turns up years later in Whitesnake . . . . . Vandenburg were class, and really made an impression on me all those years ago. . .
Yea Me,and my friend Steve use to sit in his room, and jam out on this album, back around 1982-83,also Heading for a storm, was a killer album too !! CSC/10 in Lynchburg,V.A. (U.S.A.) !!
@ajaxrules1975 I was unaware he had issues with his wrist. A real low blow for a guy who brought classical intent to hard rock in very musical ways. Great chops and songs! His tone was very aggressive and he did his homework. I first heard of Vandenberg when a great 4 pc. road band played a local bar and did three or four songs. I'm glad I heard them. I hope Adrian's doing better these days.
always been a big fan of Vandenberg, had the pleasure of seeing them back in the day (the 80's) he is very talented guitaris but I can't help feeling there are elements of Nigel Tufnel in this solo
Adrian gets such a killer tone out of that Gibson Les Paul Heritage series live! I frequent Guitar Center often and while I hear kids and more experienced guitarist going at it on the fret board, they don't sound anything like Adrian Vandenberg. One can only wish!
Too bad this man was always tortmented by wrist problems during his musical career. During his Whitesnake years that became a huge problem, that's why he wasn't able to play his compositions on Slip of the tongue for instance. He had a great sound and style.
Wow. The solo was so bad I thought it was a gag video a couple of times. I don't get it. The playing during the song was way better, but still average. I got to meet Adrian in 1986 at a Guitar Center and he was super cool, but didn't play because he was "injured". I thought I missed out at the time, but apparently not.
Bert Heerink, Adje Vandenberg, Dick Kemper, Jos Zoomer.....Vandenberg🇱🇺🇱🇺🇱🇺🇱🇺
Highly underrated Dutch Hardrock band
True 🎵🎼🎶🎤🥁🎸💪😎🤘
Vandenberg was a great group. Awesome rhythm section, Adrian guitar solo & Bert can sing!

Great Great Great Times!!!
Adrian Vandenberg before he joined up with David Coverdale and Whitesnake where he Cowrote "Sailing Ships " and many others.
Jos is an incredible drummer.
I agree👍🇱🇺

EXCUSEME!!! JAJAJJJA
@thorfinnhrolf It is available on dvd. Look it up.
@kcameron4399 yeah, i had someone request the song so i put it up and the top "fan-faves" from their other records.
guitar solo is just like a philosophy
This is the closest anyone approached Randy Rhodes style and sound.
damn he almost looks like randy rhoads!
😳Uh Oh!🙈🤭🤣🎶🙏
His hands are ridiculously large - they make that Les Paul look tiny in comparison.
Adrian is 6'6" tall. Giants usually have big hands.
I love Adrian but this solo sounds like someone in Guitar Center. The song is great. They had some cool tunes.
cyclops centurion lol
do you have studio version of this song.
Can I have permission to go back please,I'd give anything
Did you know he beat out Yngwie Malmsteen and Oz Fox for the next metal god in waiting
ten minute 'wait'; that should prove interesting . . .
wait till the guitar solo's over........
@394pjo i just posted the same fuckin thing on a differant sight for his solo!!! too funny!!

Listen. You can hear Ace Frehley
