Hello Vlad, Thanks for finally starting your channel here on UA-cam. I was taught the Cho Ku Rei in Reiki 1 myself in terms of Usui Reiki Ryoho. In my Masters Manual which I had to dig up. By: William Rand. On pg. 43 it says "Cho Ku Rei" derives from Shintoism which literally means "By Divine decree". Versus the typical Japanese pronunciation from the Kanji alphabet. Cheers. Keep those videos coming. Btw, I was never taught about the Reverse Cho Ku Rei symbol, go figure.
Hi there Ivan and happy to be here! Indeed, the Usui Reiki symbols have different interpretations however they have the same attributes regardless of the Reiki school. The "Reverse Cho Ku Rei" can be found on the internet and is oftentimes presented as the "regular" Cho Ku Rei. The way I learned it that the reverse one functions as a token for releasing excess energy. In the end I believe that intention matters most. More will come from Usui, Karuna, Shamballa, and many other systems. Also, there will be many concepts presented as we go along.
Thank you for all the information you provide. You mentioned on this video that we can draw the symbol in the air and then place it in the area that needs healing. Does it have the same healing effect if we draw it with our non-dominant hand and place it on the area that needs healing, which it is the dominant side? Thank you in advance for your help.
Yes, you can do so. Reiki works through intention, intuition, and visualization. The drawing in the air part was more for placing the symbol where you can't reach - like on the back of the body for example.
