Class of 2021: Luke Gage

Luke joined Mars Hill Academy in third grade. Over his years at MHA, the open conversations about difficult and controversial topics have shaped his ability to talk with people and formed his love for debating and discussing complex issues. He especially enjoyed his American Humanities class because of the interesting conversations about history and political theory. Winning the state soccer championship his junior year is Luke’s favorite MHA memory. Luke encourages underclassmen to explore the opportunities MHA has to offer, from sports, to Worldview Summit, to drama. Luke thanks Mr. Stapleton for his influence in the classroom and beyond. “The faith and constant guidance he consistently invested in me helped me become a confident leader, and those are things I will cherish and live by for the rest of my life.” Outside of school, he enjoys water skiing, soccer, listening to audio books, and watching sports. Luke plans to attend Baylor University in the fall to study business economics before going on to law school.
