It seems like they're hoping that, Julian, will one day sign a huge contract. One of Lebron James high school teammate, Dru Joyce, worked his butt off and couldn't make it into the NBA, but he's playing over seas in Germany. He was like 5'2" in H.S. and was lucky to grow to 6'0". Julian's done growing. The NBA is not about how well you could dribble a ball--it's so much more than that. Mugsy Bogues, wasn't a flashy dribbler. Mugsy had speed and knew how to get the ball to players in scoring positions. The game was much different when Mugsy and Spud Webb played and that why they were able to make the opportunity work for them. Today's NBA league is not for Midgets who stand in place dribbling their asses off.

I think the issue is that people are sick of being forced fed Julian Newman videos on every basketball channel. Like yah we get it, hes short and pretty good at basketball, but eventually people get burned out seeing the same content over and over again.
