It's really great you specify your type of CP & also, you explain how it feels which is on point, in my point of view cause I feel the same way.. I have a specific cerebral palsy too but it affects my lower extremities & arms somewhat...
You don’t even know how happy am I rn I found your channel through another CP channel and I relate so hard I have mild cerebral palsy too - and I’ve watched all your CP chat videos because it’s not often I see people that have mild cerebral palsy like me!! Only thing is I’m pretty fine with stairs - don’t get me wrong I still hate them and I take my time so I don’t trip but I can go up them fast if I need too I also watch the 5 things you hate with CP and I smiled and nodded for all of them just because of felt seen We practically have the same type except my left side I’d affected instead I also thought that me not having loads of energy as a teenager was a personality thing ( I am lazy by nature lol) but I was surprised to see that CP played into it The only other thing I have to say is does your unaffected leg ever ache or hurt randomly- or will it start to tense first when walking sometimes? Bc I have noticed that for me I’m sorry for the ramble but seeing someone like me is something I’ve always kinda wanted and this makes me so happy!
Hi thanks for watching! That's cool you can go down stairs quickly. I can up up stairs pretty fast (well...fast for me lol), but going down stairs I hesitate sometimes. I am happy to hear you related so much to my chats as it's always nice to find someone else with CP similar to mine. As for the unaffected leg question....oh yeah, I'm finding that it does hurt more at times when I'm walking or exercising. It's even more now that I am older, so I have to remind myself to stay active. I don't know why that is, but I'm thinking maybe it's because my left side has to work harder to compensate for my right side, so sometimes it just likes to let me know it doesn't feel like cooperating?😅 No need for apologizing, and I am happy you found my videos! Have a good week!
@@EviesHangout Yeah I thought that too regarding the leg thing - that my right leg was just working more than my left This conversation reminds me I should probably do my stretches as I haven’t done them for ages lol Thanks for answering my question too!

Thanks for your kind words. I really thought hard about what CP feels like for me, so I am happy to hear some people relate to it.
