With this full range speaker you can use this without the aid of a subwoofer.
36Hz ~ 20kHz
You can use any 12" LF driver on this speaker no matter what ts parameter you would use. The tweeter side it is up to you what tweeter or horn you could fit in there. Make sure it is sealed so there is no air leak that would go out.

I suppose if I'm running subwoofers I don't need my top to play bass, but for a standalone speaker it's quite good if they were just installed in a bar or club wall.
