    I’ve had a 2023 Scram 411 since February and I’ve put just over 1700 miles on it in rural southwest Virginia on roads similar in nature to the ones in this video. Bottom line: Adam’s review is spot on! I love this bike for all the reasons he describes. If that kind of riding is your jam, you can’t go wrong with a Scram 411. My hat is off to Royal Enfield!

      I just bought one today. I’m live in the WV panhandle but there are a lot of back farm roads to get everywhere I want to go. I would love to get it further into WV into the mountain roads.

    This is the most excited I feel that Adam has been in a few videos, that's awesome. I have a Scram and honestly at 5'6, I find her to be absolutely amazing with handling (even when I mess up, she's very forgiving). Great call out about the headlight and yes, I wish there was a little more top end for my longer trips but 50/55mph covers a lot of the country's roads

      Don't forget, you can pop a 16T front sprocket on her to be more relaxed. Maybe for ultimate speed you might need 4th but it will get you a more relaxed ride (plus it can be swapped back to the standard 15T in minutes)

    I bought a Scram in this color scheme early this summer from GoMoto in Minneapolis and LOVE it! So balanced, nimble and versatile. Have ridden it in the big city, on the Interstate, on country roads (my favorite) and two track and it is sooo fun. Light enough to move around in the garage and turn around in tight places and yet heavy enough so that it doesn't get blown around by a passing truck. And it is strikingly good looking! Have gotten more compliments on it than any other bike I've owned. And it's been trouble free through the first thousand miles. Great dealership too!

      I live north of Duluth and was curious how it would do on our roads, does it actually comfortably get to 70? how are you liking it now?!

    • @bluffite2238
      @bluffite2238 7 місяців тому

      @@ThirdMonarch Hi! Still loving the Scram. Yep for me it goes 70 easily. That is not my preferred riding but I certainly have tested it for many miles at that speed without issue. I only weigh about 160 and had maybe 20 pounds of gear strapped on. So if a person is bigger and the bike fully loaded, it might effect acceleration to 70. Not sure. But for the sheer joy of cycling around on a variety of road surfaces, this is such a great bike. I love riding side roads, gravel, dirt and paved and it handles all with ease with stock tires and equipment. It'd be perfect for the North Shore! Had it on a battery tender over the winter in an unheated garage. Turned the key this Spring and it was like it had been run all winter long. Raring to go - no muss or fuss. Highly recommend GoMoto and the Scram 411!

    The Royal Enfield Himaalyan(that's how it's pronounced in India) motorcycles has been a big success. You can find parts and mechanics in even the smallest Indian towns. The price you pay for them is higher than in India tough(2.500$ OTR in Punjab) so they maybe make much less sense in California than in rural India where Honda's Activa remains the king, so much so that most people call all scooters Activas....

    I really like this bike, but I have to say that you forgot about the older riders. I'm 72, and you might say that I'm experienced. I learned a few years ago that I'm not immortal, and this information kinda sobered me up a bit, you know? I'm not looking for a red line experience anymore and this kind of ride is really appealing. I hate freeway speed and in town traffic. Back roads, two lane blacktop and gravel is where I am inclined to ride these days and the Scram looks like a good tool for that sort of fun. I was disappointed to see that side stand hanging down like that though, wonder why it does that...?
