Had the same issue and it was the same fix. Replaced the mother board, got it on the GE website since it was the same price as eBay. Took me less than 10 minutes to replace. GE wanted $150 for a service person to come out plus parts and labor if they could fix it. Save yourself the money and do it yourself. Rate the change a 1 out of 10. Extremely easy.

not sure where you are located but a company called tribles u can go to the site type in you model if you are not in their region we can find a place … not more then 60/80 that was a while ago 😬
Anyone try unseating, cleaning, and re-seating the ribbon cable? The display is separate from the controller, and might work (I'm about to give it a try).
I have mine out right now.. I noticed the same thing? any luck? I can't seem to find JUST the display online either.. which would be a super easy solder job.
