Idk why people are advertising it as romance. Like I love my dark romance but Haunting Adeline is just…erotica. I only got like 200 pages in before I gave up. I think it’s ABSURD that we (the booktok community) are recommending this book to people. It’s the type of book that shouldn’t be popular. Like I know people love Fifty Shades of Grey, but no one recommends it because we know how problematic it is. It’s something you need to decide to read for yourself.
