I also teach Geotechnical engineering and my students have asked for these videos. Rather than start a new Channel, I've simply added these videos as a Playlist that you can access from my main Engineering Economics Guy Channel. Click here for the Playlist: ua-cam.com/play/PLcfz9wmNxKqhSfrl6WD82jw305k5nEuY_.html Sorry, but I only have 3 Geotech videos (I will add more in the future...but that probably doesn't help you...). There are other good Channels for Geotech materials. Try this one: ua-cam.com/channels/yt3w3SogxUSJ7RSxQusXXA.html (I know this professor)
I'm using a black sheet pinned to the wall. The trick is to get the lighting just-right. I also adjust the exposure and brightness of the camera to make the black look very-black. If you want to see the equipment I'm using go to www.lightboarddepot.com.
Great video! You are a talented communicator.
Thanks! Glad you liked the video!
why are you doing geotech and where are the rest of your geotech videos? I need to watch them all :)

How did you get the solid black background with the lightboard?
