Thank you one and all. We are most grateful for your support since the launch of the African Lure Craftsman earlier this year. Having completed nearly 40 videos covering a great and diverse range of topics, we plan to take a scheduled break through this busy fishing season of the year in Southern Africa. During this time we hope that both new and established viewers will continue to enjoy the African Lure Craftsman content, as we go about collecting material for the next chapter in this channel. 😊
Hi Greg. First of all please accept our prayers and the very best of wishes for Ralphie, thank you for keeping us up to date. You definitely leave no stone unturned when you're designing your lures. I'm very new to making and Painting lures, so your videos always impresses and I learn a great deal along the way. I'll be sad to see the end of this one, you've included so much and kindly explained how to do everything along the way. Another great video as always 👍😷👍
Hi Andrew. Again thanks for the support. I'm chuffed this series has been a help to others. It'll be bitter sweet to see this series end but have much more in store. Stay tuned! Thanks for the prayers for Ralph. He seems to be responding well to the treatment I must say. Keep well mate!
Oh you've made my weekend letting me know about Ralph that's great news. Oh I've enjoyed every second of this series's but I always do. It will be a bitter sweet ending that's for sure, I've never seen anything like it and you designed it from the very beginning. Thank you for taking the time so to record the whole procedure I really appreciate it mate. Have a great weekend Greg and give Ralph a hug from me please.
Cheers Andrew. Really means a lot to have people from all around the world rooting for Ralph. Sitting now readying to shoot the next episode. Taking pics of every step not documented on video so hopefully will be clear. Must say this bait has been great fun! Enjoy the weekend mate!
Firstly greg hope 🐶 makes a full recovery 🙏🏼 It was good too see you pushing the boundaries & been brave with the removable bib choice, can't wait to see the final result 👍 really enjoying the fact you're showing us the adjustments you're making & the testing in the pool afterwards, not seen another chanel do this as in depth so it's brilliant, you have certainly helped get my enthusiasm back to start lure building again so I would like to thank you for that my friend 👍 all the best & good luck with the next stages of the lure!
Andy thanks for the thoughts for Ralph. Must say he seems to be responding well to the treatment so far. I'm really glad this series has been an encouragement. I've achieved what I set out to do then. Much appreciate the support buddy!
Well done Greg you really have gone to a lot of effort going thru all the different suggestion, the bait is really starting to look great thanks so much for sharing
i love the way you are doing it!!! not the usual "here is what i`ve done", instead lets do it togethe. its great!!! this time i just have a simple idea, its so stupid it could work. a circle disk of polycarbonat with a slot in the middle that slides over the front eye. like a magic-head in flyfishing. iwould try it for my lures, mostly to get the line straight during heavy sidewind but it should give them some action too
Cheers Jan. That's a great idea - kind of like a scrounger bib on a jighead. Sorry for to the comments late and already committed to the removable bib but it's certainly an idea worth considering for the future! Cheers for the support.

Solid work as always, I love how much I am learning just from this lure alone. Cant wait to see the final action and paint
Much appreciate the support. I too am hanging for the end result. Let's hope we can do her justice!
Maybe an African Arowana Lure or Tigerfish lure
Thanks for the support. Now a tigerfish swimbait is a great idea!
