1. Your leg strength and stride length has increased naturally over the past year. 2. You are in sub 4:10 min shape for a mile. Doesn't mean you'll do it first time around, but you've got some serious fitness at the moment.
I agree with that, it’s strange to look at videos from 18 months or so ago and see the difference in my stride now. But I think it’s helping a lot. I also think 4:10 is a good shout as well. The way that indoor season is going at he moment it’ll be hard to get in a 1500 or mile, but I’d love to capitalise on my fitness and get a race at at least one of those distances in because I think I’m definitely better than my PBs. You’re right though, it’s about executing the right race too. Thank you for the support!
Patrick, that was a great session. The ability to maintain that crazy fast pace for all 10 reps was super impressive. Do you know if you have to be a member or book the track to use it, or is it open to the public to use whenever? Thanks! Keep up the great training =D !
Thank you very much! No, you don’t have to be a member of the Mary Peters Track to use it and it’s open to the public for £6 I think. Sometimes, the track will be booked exclusively for groups and so it’s unavailable for anyone else during those periods, but you can check the website to see when those bookings are
Quality session and top video with plenty of insights to take away, kudos to the mrs getting out and recording 📹 top job. I could use a bit more support with the filming side but not got many takers 😂
@@Helloiambriantseng Have to disagree. I ran 3:51 for the 1500 last year (just under 62 second laps) and wouldn’t have been able to do this workout. A few weak before running 3:51 I actually did 2 sets of (4x400 off 90 seconds) with a 4 minute break between sets and averaged about 62 seconds

"Patrick the Hammer"!
That's your new name.
Cause you nail it every time.
Hahahahaha I love that! Won’t argue with that name at all
Amazing Patrick. That's unbelievable speed 🎉

Brilliant Patrick! Keep it up! Good luck in London
Thank you very much!!

Thank you very much, I really appreciate it and am glad you found it helpful! Hahaha I get you, Megan is a very big help, I would be stuck without her
60s break average will be closer to actual 1500 pace
