Weidman is literally in denial & is losing SO MANY fans its outrageous. Hes giving Paddy a run for his money for worst fall off.
Silva got eyepoked AT LEAST 4 times. Each time, Weidman's fingers went AT LEAST 1 knuckle deep. No way is he saying a thumb that grazed his eye off a legitimate shot was worse than multiple eyepokes that were knuckles deep into Silva's eyesockets.
To top it off, hes literally BLAMING the guy that he fouled multiple times. Weidman is a tool. Put him in the octagon with the hardest hitting young prospect & send him to the shadow realm for the last time.

The celebaration was way over the top, chris knew what he did and knew that his counter left hook didn't land. Literally threw a 1-2 eyepoke as he himself said in this interview, I mean who does that? There's no excuse. You have to bend the rules. I was sparring this older man. A small man for weeks. And I always rabbit punch him and hard on the inside. A couple weeks he kept dropping from them.

I've never seen anybody celebrated that much off an eye poke win.
I'm a Weidman fan and i know this win was very important for him, but the disrespect everyone showed the other fighter was disgraceful, and a shame to the sport we love.
Fighting a trained killer at full speed is really hard and in the moment, it may be instinctual to reach with your fingers opened, etc, but that's why the replay exists: to fix mistakes and make things righf when the ref couldn't see it in real time. These things should be easy to fix once the replay is seen.
Even the fighters there not speaking about how awful it was (although i haven't seen the post show) was ridiculous, because they know how hard that life is(specially Bisping, who lost an eye). I guess there are no more guys with balls to say what should be said like Dan Hardy.

Apparently Bruno Silva got eye poked 6 times in total. 2 of the times Bruno shrugged it off and the ref didn’t catch it. But Bruno’s one legal punch that happened to poke Weidman’s eye is worse than the 6 eye pokes Bruno received. It’s hard to win a fight with your vision impaired. And it’s hard to say it’s an accident when it happens 6 times. It just shows how hard the last few years have been for Weidman if getting a win by any means is that important. The cope is real.
