- This is part 2 where I port time this badboy and fab up all the odds and ends so I can install it on the 461... all that's left now is to see if it runs like a dream or ends up in steam JCS style 😎
THANKS FOR WATCHING!!!
Pouch? For what??🤣
Mahle used to make good forged pistons. I think they used to make pistons even for Stihl in the past.
WISECO...Made in the USA since 1941 !!!!
Freakn awesome
Is the weight difference in these pistons going to be enough to make gains? I've always wanted one for my 066.
Anytime you can reduce rotational mass, it's almost always good.
Interesting 🤔
What’s the part number ?
I would like one for my 500i
Dave is the man👍🏻
Awe. A pouch piston 😂😂😂
John do you know anywhere else to purchase the wiesco piston for a 661? CCC website has shown them sold out for awhile now. I’ve reached out twice now through email, inquiring when they’ll have more in but I never received a response. From what I can tell email is the only way to reach them. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Adam.
By the way I love the videos. Keep up the good work.
Hahle
Awwww man, learning about this after I already installed the Hyway popup kit on my 461. Super sketchy... one ring retainer was virtually flush with the landing. Gotta keep an eye on it now.
wich one link please ? for the 500i
Have you ever pissed on a Piston
how do i get you to build a saw for me?
SAME
Is that 11 grams going to affect over all crank balance
2 кільця краще за одне!
If you notice the stock piston has two rings the aftermarket only has one ring that may be an issue
Doesnt make diff
Less friction the better
@@khrprod it reduces life expectancy, but is better for high revs
@@matthewbianchini3260 but 2 ring is more stable, hence they last longer, always
My kids bought me a brand new 500i and after one and a half days of bucking trees my piston burned up! The Ace pro store they bought it from will not fix it for free or give me my money back after having it for 3 days and using it for a day and a half!
Go around the store. Contact Stihl directly. I saw the same thing happen locally. After two days of a guy running around town with a sign saying do not buy from blah, blah blah, everyone was on board to replace the guys saw.
@@johnmorris7960 I was more pissed off about it, but my kids were really bummed.. I’ll look up a number for Stihl and if need be I’ve carried signs before. Thank again
@@arnoldlucero6084 they are the biggest in the world and can make it right. I just bought six formed fuel lines for $82 and could have gotten all 6 aftermarket for less than $20 with shipping if I could have waited for them to get here. They can afford to swap out your saw.
@@johnmorris7960 I took my saw to another shop, he tested the fuel, contacted one of the main guys and he told them to fix it! The tech already ordered the parts and will give it a complete diagnostic test.. I’m happy with that outcome, but I’ll never use or recommend the shop in Missoula MT that never even tried to help me out. Thanks again
