Can't believe they are talking about women coming forward of sexual harassment as mere publicity stunt.. It's not easy for a women to live with a sexual harassment even though it happened years ago. And coming forward about it is the most courageous thing to do even after 100 years and that doesn't make the women any less. She calling herself a feminist is the biggest joke. Though majority of women coming forward are legitimate, some do it for a publicity stunt and slept their way to the top and complain later. If you have a problem complain about that, then itself. Me being a guy my boss can make do some shady shit in return for a promotion and then down the line when I get caught I can't say "I did all this otherwise my boss would have fired me". Lot of women choose fame over morality and then complain about it later on.

ஒரு அற்புதமான நேர்காணல். முடிந்து விடுமோ என்று நினைக்கும்போது TOBE CONTINUED என்று போட்டு அடுத்த பதிவை ஆவலுடன் எதிர்பார்க்க வைத்துவிட்ட ஒரு நேர்காணல். சாதித்த இருவர்கள் உரையாடும் போது அதனை பார்க்கும் இன்பமே ஒரு அலாதி. சௌகார் ஜானகி அவர்களின் அனுபவம் உண்மையில் ஒரு பாடம் தான் இன்றைய இளைஞர்களுக்கு. என்ன ஒரு கம்பீரமான குரல் இன்றும் அவர்களிடம் ஒலிக்கிறது!!!!. எனது அறிவிற்கு எட்டிய ஒரு குறை உண்டு இந்த உரையாடலில்.....YGM அவர்களிடம் சுயசரிதப்படத்தைப் பற்றி கேட்ட போது அவர் கொடுத்த பதிலில்தான் அந்த குறை. ஒரு புகழ் பெற்ற நடிகையின் அல்லது நடிகரின் சுயசரிதப்படத்தை எடுத்து அவரது வாழ்க்கையில் நடந்த தவறான பகுதியையும் (மக்களுக்கு தெரியாத) ஏன் காட்டவேண்டும் என்ற அவரது கேள்வி மிக நியாயமானதுதான். அப்படி கூறியயவர் "நாட்டிய பேரொளி பத்மினியின்" சுயசரிதப்படம் எடுத்தால் தவறுகள் தான் அதிகம் இருக்கும் என்று கூறிய அந்த வார்த்தை "பத்மினியின்" புகழை குறைப்பதற்கான இடத்தை கொடுத்துவிடும் என்பதை உணராததுஏனோ!!!!!!/.

The great Sowcar belies her age. What a clarity of thought, beautiful smile and not to speak of her command over English. Her range of acting was amazing. Uyarndha Manithan is as much a feather on cap for Sivaji but also on Sowcar Janaki. In a way, she by her forthright acting as his wife brought out the best in Sivaji too. However, I differ with her on opinion of Me Too, but then that does not bring down my admiration for this wonderful lady actor. If she is given a chance in a suitable role in a movie now, she will easily surpass many actors of this age. In fact, no comparison at all. That generation has gone forever, we can only carry happy memories of Sivaji, Gemini, Savithri, Sowcar, Saroja Devi and of course MGR. Mahendran, your interview is joyous to watch and in fact, you must be given a permanent slot for interviewing the old actors and technicians of the previous era because with your first hand knowledge and experience, you could do full justification to the interview at hand. Kudos to Mahendran

Nice interview. Sowcar is from a old generation. Great actress. But times have changed. I would like to say something here. When I joined and worked in an MNC in mid 80's, there was one girl who joined with me the same company as a research officer. She was a PhD holder, an upcoming scientist. She was being harassed(not sexually of course but for other reasons., like for not meeting the target etc.) on her job by his Boss almost every week. She was from rich family background too. She was frustrated. She used to discuss with me very often regarding those incidents.. I used to give her lot of encouragement. I used to tell her," some men are tough in the industry and hence you also need to grow tough." But, unlike today, there was no formal system for filing a complain against a person for his / her misbehaviour, in the work place in those days. She finally resigned and went to academic / teaching side. So, in my opinion this "Meetoo campaign" has achieved a lot to protect the rights and dignity of women in their work place in this modern era recently.

'Mahanati' is a bullshit movie! The makers made a big blunder by associating only the Telugu people to show a lady who is a great actress in another language too! Only losers can make such movies to create unnecessary sentiments!

we saw pudiya paravai. i n tv. makeup,dedication by the artists made me try to talk to madam or sarojadevi.over phone. i could not getit.
as i met her the next day, i told her. she also felt same and said ,"those days we used to try our best to give performances. and then she asked my name.
