I’m more curious what secret meeting Sunspot had before the Hellfire Gala? It would’ve nice to see Sunspot and Richard Rider let loose their abilities against Genesis’s forces. It was only a small panel, but it was good to see Dr. Craig Marshall with his 2 Arraki orphans, Loolo and her brother. Was that Magneto’s cape, Storm wore in battle?
Coming 3 months after this comment to tell that it's Thor's cape 😅 In Thor #5 he brought Storm using magic to fight Thoranos,and when he was dealth with,he send her where she was headed by her request saving her time and giving her the cape
Lactuca has such a cool design. She looks like the Grim Reaper with a matching even tempered personality. We saw her powers join with Storm granting them knowledge of an enemy’s location which Storm could easily sniper from a far and safe distance. That’s a pretty OP duo in any war. Hopefully Lactuca can join the X-Men to offer them guidance along with Destiny.
@ZeeB... Destiny is usually correct in the decisions she makes. I think Storm is far more strategic than to just let a valuable member go without considering the advantage she would gain by aligning herself with Destiny. Besides, Destiny already knows that helping Storm would be the only right outcome for both Mutant kind and Mystique’s survival.

I feel Genesis doesn't have her priorities straight. Probably want ro deal with ORHIS first. The staff seems to just be guiding her towards full blown chaos
she's the omega level version of manifold. so, she should be able to travel throughout the entire multiverse, or even teleport things from one dimension to another.
im pretty sure that's not fisher king's ability being shown, its xillo fusing with him as teased in a data page of the previous issue. however their fusion might awaken an ability within the fisher king that he might not know about I guess.

It’s perplexing how in Genesis’ imperious lust for war and total mutant subjugation ,under the thrall of annihilation, she has been somehow blinded to the exigent threat Orchis poses to mutants on earth and by extension mutants on Arakko, especially with Arakko’s moon serving as a major Orchis installation. I am sure this is by design to further reduce the power and fighting ability of the mutants, however the omission of this perceived threat by Genesis seems out of character.

My problem with this entire storyline is that Genesis is supposed to be some kind of great general, but she's fighting other mutants instead of the people who are trying to destroy all mutants. It just doesn't make sense. What kind of capable general would fight against potential allies instead of very obvious enemies? Is Genesis wilfully ignorant or somethig?
She really is very over confidant and arrogant to a fatal fault she thinks anyone beneath her or her approval is not a "real" mutant she's basically the Ultimate Mutant Karen
Its always so fascinating to see divide and conquer tactics. It’s blatantly obvious this war is unnecessary but I cant help but to be curious about how genesis planned on taking over the whole planet. Uranos and all. 10/10 issue glad I waited for your analysis
imagine having a guy who can speak unlimited amounts of any metal of any shape into existence, yet you don't let him arm your warriors with weapons of adamantium and mysterium? i guess the weather b*tch isn't the strategist we thought she was.

I'm really not liking something of what Ewings doing here. Like it feels like he's saying the people couldn't live in peace time wasn't trying or it was their own fault, but we saw Zsen try and she just couldn't do it, this is an actual thing for people and it sounds like it's their own fault. I'm hoping he's setting something up but I don't know. I really didn't like it.
They will have a very hard time i think.Uranos can wipe them out all by himself though it would be interesting to see how he will fair against Nimrod .Unless Orchis left a backdoor in their machine or they manage to hack Uranos's armory like Ironman did and redirect them at him .
The issue was enjoyable . I have few questions like was Arrako the living island dead or dormant ? In this issue it says that its alive again and Genesis made it's heart beat again.Did Uranos kill the island .There will be some issues with Sunfire in otherworld to rescue Red Root the voice of Arrako if i'm not mistaken .
I think because he islands speaker, Redroot, was lost in otherworld during 10 of swords Arrako went dormant. Maybe this will link into the story with Sunfire rescuin Redroot

The island tried to communicate with Storm in some way since she has some connection with nature i suppose .She tasked Sunfire to rescue Redrooot .Storm brought her rescure to the table of the great ring if i remember correctly . Tarn the uncaring said something and the island hit him with one of his roots or branches putting him unconcious if my memory serves me correctly .It also gave a flower to Storm growing from one of it's roots/branches which she put it on her ear even .Remember that issue having a good artwork also . X-MEN #9 from may 2022 .
with all this op mutants they could have used it against orchis but no we have to do survival of the fittest. iska is so useful if she dont belong to any side, wish uranos should have killed her

Yeah, I don't see Storm and Destiny working together again since Storm knows Destiny betrayed her in Sins of Sinister.

X-men red was great from issue 1-10. They lost me with the fallout of magneto's death, no thunderbird or members of SWORD.
