I'm English and read this myself when I was about 7. It's a shame about the much less than perfect English accents in the narrative and the miscellaneous order of Pauline Bains original illustrations of this precious book presented here. Adjustment of these things would make this sharing so much more authentic and unfathomably superior to what it is. Thanks for the contribution anyway.
