Bought the same camera but don’t know if it’s my camera but I can’t turn off flash continuously, only when I shit I have to press off button flash and hold shutter to avoid flash, any advice?
Back in the day Marlboro had a rewards program where you could send in a number of codes from cigarette packs to trade in for branded items. They did this with jackets, hats, shirts and things like cameras. It wasn’t necessarily a specific collaboration between cannon and Marlboro more so just cannon allowing Marlboro to brand their products for their rewards program. Also, recently Marlboro brought back their rewards program via entering codes inside cig packs online, only now the stuff you can get is not Marlboro branded cause it’s illegal to do so.
Source: my grandfather smoked a shitload of cigarettes so I have this camera alongside a Marlboro victorinox knife and a bunch of other random Marlboro merch
Cameras like this usually have a focus lock function. For example if you have two people in the frame Cameron like this we usually focus on the background. I don't own this camera so I'm not sure if it has this feature but you could try this. To use the focus walk Place one subject in the middle of the viewfinder. Half press the shutter in hold it hold it there. A light should come on to confirm that you've locked Focus as long as that light is on your focus is locked. While still holding the shutter button recompose your shot and press the shutter button the rest of the way. Subject you want to focus should be in focus.
Marlboro used to have a reward system. When people bought packs or cartons of Marlboros they would save a proof of purchase of the boxes and redeem for this or lots of other branded items. Mostly adventure hiking and camping related stuff.
I brought to for 8 destroyed and would like to know what I'm doing with the other one cuz it's in really good shape

Why did Marlboro do a collab with Canon on this Camera? Whats the connection? Do you know?
Unfortunately I don't know. If anyone knows, please write in the comments.

bought it with a missing metal battery cap, any advice?
The most primitive solution is a bit of aluminum foil for contact and scotch tape. :)

I don't know why it says marlboro, if someone knows, please write. otherwise it uses 35mm film.
