You still haven't officially filed an FIR and are expecting such a guy to return your money. Keep hoping, he won't. Such people only listen when they are in custody. It's your moral duty to do it instead of coming here and complaining.

However I strongly opine that you need to press charges against the “Cheater” Understand that you folks would have been busy during your Marriage period . Nonetheless since you have an official signed contract, it’s better to use judicial governance. Yes , it might take a long process, but such scamsters need to be taken to task . Tomorrow he might do it with someone else . It’s my advice but the ultimate decision is with You ! Take care and God bless you 😇
