Greetings and welcome back to another Cheapo Feature Phone Review...I'm sorry!
I said I wouldn't review any more Feature Phones and here we have this one.
It popped up on eBay and I got it cheaper and thought it would be worth taking a look at one since I've never looked at one on the channel before.
And I also have ANOTHER Feature phone to review by the end of this year. I promise I'll bring some good stuff for next year.
Enjoy this one for what it is. Maybe grab a drink or something to help you through this one.

*I say the battery is 0.25MM. It's 2.5MM. I clearly do not know anything*
It's another feature phone. I said I wouldn't do anymore this year but here we are. One more for this year and that's it for now I promise!
This wasn't that exciting of a device but at least I've had a look at one of them.
Let me know what you thought of this one and if there's others that exist (and if I should look at them sometime in the future)
Thanks everyone, be good people!

Hi from Veta that has video on hes chanel
At Slovakia we have 2G and some Wireless providers are providing 3G
128x64 and not 100x50
@@math1863 It was just a guess, I was fairly close though!
At least your girlfriend will be happy 🤣
You can't break the laws of physics, not even for BFG division. Thin phone, thin speaker
Small sperker
Me, with Fold5 and have thicc sperkers: 😎😎😎🔥
@@pemainulunggggg The fold is still the thickness of a normal phone...
"Mediatek funeral services" got me rolling on the floor!
On the plus side, the keypad's like a never ending piece of bubble wrap!
It's crazy that nowadays, card machines try to be cell phones and cell phones try to be credit cards 😩🙏
i think feature phones and smartphones are really neat to have a look, especially if they are cheap. There are alot of this super small with OLED display, kinda crazy to see a colour display on such small device. One thing that i really wanted to see is a cheap java phone that was released after 2015 and is sold on Wish/Aliexpress/Temu, i think in the sea of weird cheap phone one of those would be java compatible.
"Lion battery, rarr"
*Insert lion.jpg*
Loving it.
i grew up in the emirates during the 90's/00's and there was always lots of phone shops everywhere that sold shit like this that parents would get their kids as throw away phones; We were active kids back then! no sitting at home gaming so kids tended to break them or lose them alot. i remember the first "grown up" phone i was allowed was a phillips c6 and it looked like a tv remote
I'd have grabbed this maybe a few years ago, it's handy to have a little emergency phone that doesn't take up any space
Its battery will be dead that time you need it.
@@Aeduo Well, actually now. Battery is tiny, but energy usage is also miniscule. Typically, this kind of phone has enough juice for usual texting and dozen minutes of calls throughout 24 hours. If you use it just as backup (i.e. no calls and no SMS) it could last for couple of days. Thus, you could charge it at the same interval as your regular phone and it would last.
Fun review, at one point I actually considered buying one of these as an emergency/backup phone I could just dump in a pocket without it getting in the way but I suspect they were mostly bought by people who needed a phone they could hide & destroy easily?
Oh & 15:12 bless you, that’s “0.25 centimetres” or “2.5mm” 😄
I mean the whole hiding and destroying part absolutely makes sense with this.
ALSO YES THE measurement thing. I have NO idea. I have holes in my ears that are 16MM...how I stuffed it up just yep oops
@@SMOOREZ LOL! Don't beat yourself up about it. 🙂
Wishing Shane, your family, friends and colleagues a Very Happy, Peaceful and Holy Christmas and best wishes for the New Year from Maynooth in Ireland.
kinda shaped like those remotes which control the rgb lighting on pc case fans ,even the sim/tf slot cover looks like a battery slot cover on those aforementioned rgb fans remotes ..
it's so cute how small this is, it's adorable. it's pretty useless but not that bad after all, even tho at the end of the day it was funny to look at. 10/10 to the quality speaker XD
im feeling sick and now im here watching my favorite phone tuber
Our favourite thumb man is back :D
Some people don't care about storing anything on their phone. As long as you can make calls and it be clear enough to understand who you are talking to.
9:12 that's a sound from windows phone 8.1
Hopefully they'll release an actual oled model. It *would* double the price (temu sells 1 inch oled for $10) but it would save on battery life, theoretically.
If you're willing to forego full colour, 1 inch OLEDs can be bought for under a dollar.
Had one of these in the car for a long while until someone pinched it (not kidding) - that physical on/off switch was the clincher for me, pair it up with a PAYG SIM card that doesn't expire and you have the ideal emergency phone, as the battery never runs out.
Crap device otherwise!
Well what a cute wee thing. Lol I'd be quite impressed back in the late 1990's
Or maybe not. I would have recommended this to friends who somehow dropped their phones down the toilet in nightclubs. 😂
Merry Christmas everyone ❤
there was one, NEC N900 in 2004 i guess 85x54x8.6 mm
I love the color glod!
Reminds me of the now defunct VK Phones of South Korea they used to make small card phones etc.
As someone who prefers dumbphone showcases, I'd love to see more.
"A lion battery"
RAWRR! to you too, good sir.
I have a simpler version of this, keep it in my wallet as finder for my daily driver. The power switch is godsent, I charge it like once a year, and it saved my ass quite a few times.
9:09 HTC modern notification sound
02:15 - "Raow!" hahaha a MANLY phone here then! 👌🤣🤣🤣
😎🇬🇧
That IMEI corresponds to an AiEK A8
Some people like minimalistic phones, like the Lightphone 2 Feature wise they're similar, though the Lightphone has maps as well.
you're not doing cheapo phone device reviews anymore? but i love these!
No no, I'll still be doing them but just taking a break from feature phones for a bit (even though I'm uploading one now).
I've just looked at so many over the last few months and I want to focus on some other things.
Smoorez, do you happen to have the Samsung card phones? They did a whole bunch of them back in the day,
Can I have the link to this? It would look funny as heck in my phone collection
4:59 same startup as the Dsfen/Satrend V1
Lion battery "rawr" :D
9:11 Sounds like old Lumia default ringtone
Ring 3 is a Windows Phone Ringtone (can be founded on windows 10 or 11 "C:\Windows\Media")
for what kind of customer would this be aimed at?
15:09 It's centimeters.
Or 2.5 mm
Hi smoorez!
I would have bought this phone a few months ago when I was using my canoe daily just because it would fit in my lifejacket,
Lion battery *rawr* 🦁😂
I wish 2G networks were still working. I'd love to be able to use an old phone. I have a Nokia N-Gage here I wish I could really use.
They work here in Europe, I still use my NOKIA 3310 and 5110. It is available in Kyrgyzstan too, in my wife's village my phone constantly drops to 2G.
@@sali-ali if I ever move back to the UK I will carry a 2g phone!
Here in Croatia all carriers still have 2G and 3G services running
Maybe it IS named Ike, in honour of Ike Eisenhower. Let's get bizzay!
In Poland 2G is up till 2028
Looks like the kind of phone thst perfectly fits in one's prison wallet.
I once bought a glod rolex for 10 lira in Turkey
2G is still supported in uk, but only vodafone
In UK 2G is still active on O2 and EE as well as Vodafone. Just not Three, who only launched when 3G was already a thing.
3G is being phased out by all 4 networks over next year or so, 2G staying around on networks for a few years yet, primarily because a lot of machines like vending machines and smart meters use it and need upgrading.
Probably
But I like the feature phones!
See if you can get your hands on a Samsung SGH-P300 from 2006. It was a high quality card phone, which spawned a lot of much cheaper copycats.
Samsung themselves were the copycats back then
What is QQ ?
I feel like screen could've been a tad bigger
That display looks to be 128*64 srandard project size. Enough for this beast of phone. 😂
320mAh batter is the same battery in a smartwatch like the galaxy watch. Unless you have a galaxy watch 5 pro . The battery life is known to be terrible. Im actually surprised the battery life is so garbage on this because it doesn't do half of the stuff as the galaxy watch and has a smaller screen. Maybe you could do a review of a wish "smart watch"
Wish you would show how to disable the welcome title on boot up on welcome phones.😳💩👍🍻
I would pronounce it ai-ek like "eye-heck"
What's with the bandaids?😂 (I've watched the explanation, yet still ask the question)
It's just a thing with the channel now. Like a signature.
🥳🥳
In all fairness my flagship need updateed anti slippery meteral
Guysim typing this 11 mins from the release of the vid
9:11 that's from a windows phone
Windows 8
I think it's from 2017
Also i think its ayi-yek
im playing uno with this
ok i know I'm an American and don't understand the metric system and all.........but wasn't that like a couple of mm, not a quarter of a mm?
Yeah I made a mistake there.
Someone shuold try to port Doom to whatever this odd mediatek platform is. 4MB RAM should be enough. People have it running on 640Kish. :p
Unrelated but a port of Doom for Spreadtrum SC653x-powered feature phones does exist, and it is called "fpdoom"
@@AguevadoConCaraDeSonso29 I found a video and wow it runs way better than I would've guessed.
The battery is 2.5mm not 0.25mm ;)
I knew I screwed it up! I was editing and had the caliper in front of me and was going "How does one even" and then I went "it's fine".
My bad :(
thin welcome
I imagine it would be great in jail to conceal, you know, in the gap
Cameras: None❌

Might be the accent but why is it SPURKER not speaker?
It's an inside joke that started when I reviewed the DJ1000. On the box it had "Big Sperker". So it has just stuck around.
9:12 Windows 8 lol
Smol sperker.
9:11 that's stolen from Windows Phone 8
I think this fone would be eaSy to smuggle in for inmates in prison!!!
still doesn't compare to the aeg (aeg aeg aeg aeg)
128x64 and not 100x50
Hey look TechImma1st
featureless phone
Nah, can't play Angry Birds, no thanks
