Great tips, thank you! I especially took away the ”don’t be afraid or ashamed of offering free sessions for pro-bono clients” message. Gets me (hopefully) good reviews that I can use later as marketing, gives me more practise to become more confident and overall a better coach, and potentially provides me with future clients. A win-win-win ⭐️

Yes it is such a magical feeling! I think it’s important to do both: set up your biz and be coaching people and making new connections. I just see a lot of coaches get stuck prioritizing the biz building part but they never are focusing on client generating activities

This relieves some of the pressure. I'm gonna make a TikTok video, promote myself for free (temporary trial) and see how I go. Your video spoke to me so yeah the clients aren't going to come to me, I've got to put myself out there and let the world know I am becoming a life coach. And it's not even entirely about the money, it's about the raging passion to be one.

Hi Kathleen. Were you speaking to me? LOL I loved the advice about not charging if you don't feel confident. I keep hearing that you should always charge a fee because it devalues your work but I don't feel confident charging yet (I have gone through an ICF accredited school and did some practice coaching with friends & family but now have not done any for several months). I also laughed at "world's best secret" - that is me! I don't like to talk about myself and also don't feel confident enough to be telling people that I am a life coach. Thank you for the inspiration. I have already started working on a "campaign" for some free pro bono clients while pausing this video!

The Training aspect - I am still resistant !!
So me!!! I’ve been spending so much time on my website. I have so many versions. I’m still struggling with “how” to get people to sign up for my coaching. Even when I offer for free no one is biting. It’s making me think I “need” a website or I need to spend all my time building content so people will start to have interest. I have 1 free client right now. I also attempted to update my LinkedIn profile but then felt like “ oh wait I have to hold off because I don’t have any content yet!” I keep getting blocked and as a result only 1 client 😢
