I’m winter do you put them to bed and close their door then let them out in the mornings? I watched your video of you installing the kalgo heater. I live in the Colorado high country and I want to be sure the donkeys will be ok before I get them. 👍
Hi thanks for tuning in - Because the Mom (Sadie) grew up in an open field with no shelter, she will not allow me to lock her in. So we must leave the door open - I close the upper part of the Dutch door to keep the heat in. I have the mini stable insulated. In doing so we can keep it around 38 degrees on low teen mornings. The real goal is to keep it above freezing whenever we can.
it is a very important issue that you acknowledged that -- stubborn-- is not - correct- but rather - inteligence- is the real characteristic-- let people whose ignornace( lack of knowledge- not stupidity) makes donkies called - stubborn-
