As a former painter can I make a suggestion. Use an eighteen inch roller, the improvement in quality and the time savings add up. Start by getting your eighteen inch roller wet with paint. Start midway between the floor and ceiling. Than go up and down four times and reapply pain to the roller. For the next strip you want to overlap the roller about three inches from the previously painted section, start in the middle of the wall and go up and down four times. Rinse and repeat. You will power through a room in half the time and you will not see a single roller mark on your completed wall when the paint dries.
Thanks for sharing! Totally agree with you (and just a little glad to see someone younger than me also gets sore - lol) I just finished painting the first room in my project house today. I sprayed primer on the walls and ceilings and then sprayed color on the walls and rolled the ceilings (a lighter color). Spraying is definitely easier on the body but rolling gives you more control. :)
I completely agree with this! we are in the middle of a large project and have professional painters doing the job. They are using a mac daddy sprayer!
The first coat spraying then rolling the second coat seems like a good idea. I’m no painter and I usually get myself into Trouble when I try. Looking good and love your spunk👍💪 Good workout too I’m sure❤

You definitely earned it because if you didn’t do it, you would have paid to have it done. So you paid yourself, turned around a spent it…it’s a wash but you definitely earned it! I hope that made sense. 😅

What kind of sprayer did you use?
Graco sprayer works better & faster. No need to thin or refill a pot. I spray a room in less than a hour. With prep time it takes a hour & half.
I think I’ll upgrade to that in the future!
