USA Taekwondo Coach Joe Whitworth

Coach Joe Whitworth explains why he's still training his team even after a 10-12 hour day of competition. Tournament days usually start early and ends when it ends. The day is consisted of staying focused, waiting for your match to be called, and should you win that match, you get to move on to your next opponent. And it's not just one fighter, but multiple athletes that he has to coach throughout the day. A day full of ups and downs. However, Coach Joe Whitworth shares his mindset and I can see why he's a world class coach. Not only because he has trained and coached athletes at the world championships, but his overall approach to the sport and athletes.
