In 1995 , I was in high school that worked at an art studio during that summer and one of the first things I had brought with my pay check was this concert on VHS. I had lost the tape but the memories of seeing had resonated with me all this years . I could only imagine how it felt to see this concert LIVE ❤️

I would have to disagree with the statement of her "always" giving her best. Saw her in Vegas in 2019....the show where the audience "boo-ed"...she was late (2.5 hours), rude, arrogant, whiny. She should have cancelled if she wasn't up to performing; instead, we suffered through a long, boring night of what otherwise would have been a good show creatively.

@@lisabrown6280 With a good PR and no monetary restriction, anybody can become famous since 2000 but being famous in the 80s meant talent and hard work.
I was lucky enough to work with Madonna in the 90s (just once), and i have never met anyone with so much charisma. I also met lady gaga in Tokyo and although she was friendly and charming, she had none of the star quality Madonna had.
Madonna is an old fashioned star, like Marilyn Monroe or Bjork, who became famous because of what they did, not because of what they paid people to be perceived as. This is the massive difference between a classic star and a modern celebrity.
Gaga is a good singer and a good musician but every music school produces at least 5 stefani germanotta every year and at least 1 better than her in terms of voice and talent as a musician and song writer. But gaga was launched like a marketing, product, and the whole project was already prepared, all they needed was the person to launch, stephani auditioned for the job like many other girls and they picked her, like the spice girls.
Gaga belongs to Akon and Redone, and is not an independent artist, as she is completely under contract and doesn't own her record company or label and has no right on what she does. That is the massive difference between her and Madonna or Bjork. Being an independent artist with 100% creative rights is something only the greatest and truest artists have, like Bowie, Michael Jackson, Radiohead, Bjork, and Madonna, etc, ...
That's why if you are rich and important enough you can rent gaga as long as her label says yes, and she can't say no, but Madonna has to agree personally to an event.
And the fact that madonna achieved creative control in the 90s when she was just at the beginning of her career by re-negotiating her contract with her previous label and walking free out of the negotiation, makes her a Goddess.
Gaga can only wish to have that kind of freedom some day. But it is very unlikely because no label will lose a golden eggs laying hens like gaga.
Gaga is like coca-cola or gucci or vuiton she is a marketing product owned by a corporation which tells her what to do and what not to and pay her wage. Madonna is her own creation and is owned only by herself and answers to nobody.
That's what makes her exceptional as an artist and why she earned the respect of everyone in the industry.
Madonna's success comes from decades of hard work, Gaga's comes from her PR rep.
@@kachi2782 Thanks for the interesting information. I agree 100%. Nobody will ever be like Madonna. She provided the soundtrack to my life as I was a teen in the 80's and she still is providing it. She is a living legend and an icon who got to where she is with hard work, and determination. No one does that these days. All hail to the queen!

The official dvd is from Italy...Japanese version was filmed professionally but never went to dvd... amazing show..😇🙏 same as the girlie show.... profesional footage in Japan but never made to dvd... Australia got the dvd release... I’m glad you enjoyed this show 😀
@@Reinvented04 I really enjoyed it thank you! Brilliant performances all round. I think Madonna’s vocals and the band are incredible in this version of the show! Really makes me appreciate just how good this show was.
There are also some great moments in the Italy version where Madonna really enjoys herself interacting with the audience and that makes that show really enjoyable too - so, I actually really like both versions but for different reasons!
I’d be interested to see the Japanese performance of the girlie show too as I love that show!
I agree, some songs from here and there. The look of love sounds better in Turin/ Florence in the back up vocals chorus, you really hear Nikkis voice . Here sounds like a creepy record track, but in contrast I like the band sound for the look of love from this Japanian act, and overall sound is so powerful.
Sa meilleure tournée ! J'ai toujours été fan surtout à cette époque, mais il faut avouer elle est plus professionnelle de la danse, du spectacle que chanteuse.
