    Hopefully this helps you out! Do you shoot with a mic on your phone?

    • @TuckerPearce

      I shoot with the original Osmo Mobile. With the tripod mount on the side I put a screw I got in there, it was $0.25... Then a road mic mobile goes on there and then I attach that to my phone with an audio cable. I need to get one of your counter weights so I can use my moment lenses with it.

      Not yet!!! I've pre-ordered the OP6T case!I want a wide, 58 and, fisheye!!!
      Thing is I'd have to take another look at mobile photography for beginners though cuz phones can get good shots if ya just point press and wait! But hopefully that'll change soon!!!!

    Sounds better without microphone in those samples. But I suspect that will change once you try shooting outside and add background noise.

    • @moment
      @moment  5 років тому +11

      really? I mean the built-in mics are not too bad but yea the background noise is nice to cut out. Definitely slacked on giving you some better examples. Sorry!

    • @SamuelRiveraFilms

      Built in mic for the one wheel shot sounds worst. The rode mic is much better

    • @kaytektravel4528

      Alo we hear - that without mic is here better - but all sample are inside - so maybe outside will be a big difference... ?

    • @christopherphillip1821
      @christopherphillip1821 4 роки тому +1

      I would disagree. I don't think this is an omni directional mic, so they were talking into the back of it. If you turn up the volume on the devise you are listening on, you'll hear the audio compression from the iphone mic. However I like the feedback - in these times (COVID fun fun) this video is helping me build out a virtual tour feature for my family's small business. . . ok just watched another video on this mic made by Rode, I'm eating my first statement here; the audio from this mic is lack luster. I'll keep looking for another mic but the setup is legit.

    Hey guys and gals at Moment, just upgraded to the iPhone Xr and I want to take some better looking videos for a number of things (ham radio how-to's, wildlife photography shoots and what I do to get things set up, family events, etc...) hence I ended up at the Moment website... I feel like I should have been born 30yrs latter, you all have charged up my creative side no doubt. Got a lot to learn, you have some great videos, I'm learning something new every day. I look forward to picking up some more Moment gear as I determine what I need, my shooting style, etc. Love the what your putting out, you are definitely redefining the market for smart phone videos and photography. I still love my DSLR.

My current setup has a Rode Videomic Pro that plugs into a TRRS adapter, then the Rode SC6 (which allows me to plug both earphones and the mic into my iPhone), then the 3.5mm to lightning adapter, then my phone. The mic and earphones work fine separately, but I can’t seem to do live monitoring. Any idea why? Thanks in advance!

    Hey man thanks for making this great content. I'm in the market for a Movi and am looking for good ways to do the following:
    1. Attach a directional mic and light together
    2. Attach a stereo mic (need recommendations) and light together.
    Can you recommend a stereo mic and directional mic? I've read that the rode is a bit quiet compared to other mics. I'll take your advice to heart. Much appreciated and keep up the great content and products. Looking forward to using your lenses with my new setup! Thanks again!

    Sound is good but how do I mount two mics? one for the subject and one for my commentary.
    I am interested to know if you know of a gimbal that does not show the gimbla arm when the iphone 11pro is shooting with ultra wide angle lens or any moment lenses?
    Secondly, can a gimbal power and hold two mics (one forward facing and one rear facing shot gun)? I'm trying to find a good vlogging set up for an iphone 11 pro shot in wide angle with moment lens (ultra wide and anamorphic) and 2 mics, (maybe a small light). Please share what you can?
