Both my mum and dad were piano players, my dad in a small band in the 30's. He could not read music but she could. Growing up as a child in the 50's we never had a piano in the home, but I was always enthralled by the numerous piano LPs they had and grew up listening to them. I refinished and rebuilt a few pianos as a hobby in my 30's and 40's, but could never learn to play. On day my mother came over for Christmas dinner and when she saw the piano, she walked over and started playing "Star Of The East"....I sat there in tears, hearing her play for the first time. I never heard my dad play, as he had passed away years before. This man plays with such a passion! So wonderful to hear him:-)
Absolutely speechless. As a drummer of 25 years that has played out live consistently for over 15 of those years you absolutely killed it! I really wish I could find someone to play keys with a 10th of your talent and ability. That was 8 minutes of complete mastery and brilliance.
