Allen & Heath SQ6 Tutorial: Session 7: Gates and Compression

The first part goes through how to use gates on a channel to control the input levels. The second part (from 4:25) then looks at how compression can be added to a channel to restrict the dynamic range.
To get the best from this session I recommend listening with headphones - some of the changes will otherwise probably not be audible.
As stated in the video, this is not intended to be instructions on what gates and compressors are and all the parameters that can be adjusted. Some suggested further material is given below.
