Gram and kilogram both are units of weight. Like that: 1000 watts = 1 KW and IKWH = 1 Unit. Eg: 100 watts bulb consumes 1000 watts or 1 unit if it works for 10 hours. 1000 watt or 1 KW heater consumes 1000 watts or 1 unit if it works for 1 hour.
