Hi there, great place, wonderful views, hope you did'nt hurt yourself slipping on the muddy path,it's amazing how nature takes over things, when left,it's sad to see,but amazing at the same time, when you can peek into the past, thank you again for a great vid,👍xx
So sad that people have been in and trashed it of the things that belonged to someone who treasured them . Great location though and a hidden gem with beautiful scenery I wonder if it had been a family home that this person had lived there all their life thanks for sharing take care xx
That is definitely in probate, I am sitting in my caravan looking after an estate with probably six months left. My dog keeps me alerted to zurbexers 👍
Looks like a nice sunny, frosty, winters day. The sort of day which is refreshing and with crisp air. Surprising how quickly the house has deteriorated in ~ 15 years, notwithstanding the likely looting and poor state of repair it was probably in towards the end. Imagine if you were watching this and you saw your younger self in those photos...
I do not think you should assume that the person lived in a mess because we don't know & it seems a bit disrespectful & unkind, when they can't speak for themselves. Especially as their friends may see this & be upset. I think that it was not in a mess originally because the bits that have not been tipped on the floor are quite organized. They just had a lot of books etc & things were probably a bit cluttered but that's not the same as living in a mess. The books would have been in piles, on shelves etc, not strewn on the floor. Has the cooker started to fall through the floor or has the base of the cooker collapsed? This place would have been great for someone who liked to disappear off into the woods.
Wow, the Montego.... was a Teachers choice of car. That and Austin and British Leylands.... from the 70s, 80s and early 90s. So many of the Teachers at my schools had them..... I went to school 77 to 88. So sad to see that place like that. I bet she was an interesting lady.
What an amazing location that would have been.Such a shame someone has been in and trashed it all.Looks like nature is reclaiming it all.Thankyou for sharing it with us.I wouldnt have realised the car was there either.xx
Great video, nice relaxing voice. I like to look up the reg plates which gets us involved (even though I’m not into cars) we can paint a picture of the back story.
So happy I found your channel. So refreshing from other urbex channels that are usually a bunch of over excited teenagers.. time to binge on your videos!!
Nice little explore, such a shame that people feel it necessary to ruin and vandalise, karma is a great thing. I would love to take over the property and restore it to it's former glory. Keep up the awesome work you do, greatly enjoyable compared to others! 👍✌️🖖
thanks for the great exploring. Love to watch your video's. I hate it when people vadalise things. The least you can do, is to have respect for the house and the people who have lived there.
great little explore, cool find the montego estate, i have 2 of them :D judging by the photos and the badges the lady once played or the local hockey team, DVLA confirms the car off the road off the road since 2005, 2.0 litre diesel makes it a perkins prima model and as mine was laid up for 10 years in a forest and started, i bet this one would too
Most stuff in that house isn’t all that old, from the 00s most of it so therefore the house is mostly structurally sound at this stage as it hasn’t been left too long, all that stuff was probably left all neatly and tidily and its the people who have been in and emptied all the cupboards, drawers etc and thrown everything about looking for things of value or just mindless vandals for the fun of it, sad to think this was someones property and belongings but thats the world we live in sadly.
I think it is so disrespectful to trash a place like that. I think some people should go there & put things back in order as far as possible. I would be willing to help. Thankyou for showing us.
Great explore, beautiful location and I love the cottage, the car was so covered with weeds rather spooky, but you did a great job reading the numbers. I wonder if the 2 little girls in the Victorian photograph were related to the school teacher that lived there? They may have been her aunts or cousin's, itd be interesting to know . I hope that you didn't bust your bum to badly, 😊, take care. Have a great week end.
I guess the place was ransacked by people who made that mess, maybe there were some more cupboards and shelves once but someone took them and left the stuff. Imagine a remote relative from a different part of the UK who didn't have a relation to the people had inherited it, they would most likely just take what they like and leave the rest. It could even be that they did try to sell the property but didn't find a buyer, not knowing where it is makes it difficult to guess how sought-after such a cottage would have been. Maybe the clockwork was stolen by someone who didn't want to carry the whole clock, or then it was in the process of being repaired.
Please Please can you wear protective gloves and breathing respirators on your travels. The items you are touching most likely will have severe bacteria on it, not to mention the mold spores. Stay Safe 😷
I appreciate your style of exploring. It’s like going on an adventure. Thanks for taking us along.
Wow, the potential of renovating that home and surrounding land... it would look very classy and beautiful. Aloha to you
Yes, that would be a lovely home for someone. Love the fireplace in it.
You are so good at what you do. Really appreciate you and your videos. Thank you.♥️🇺🇸

Yeah its slip up and break your neck season sponsored by the shoes sold with useless tread.
So sad to see everything trashed, but isn't it remarkable how nature takes everything back, it always finds a way. Many thanks for a great explore.
What a shame this place is trashed. It must have been a nice cottage once. The surroundings are beautifull! Thanks for the nice video!
Thanks for risking your life to show us these interesting houses :) Cheers from Malta

The car was last used around 2004/05. Tax was due April 1st 05. Guessing she was infirm and died around 06 due the newspaper you owned. Sad stuff
Amazing how quickly it has deteriorated.

Excellent video!! Doing a mot history on the montego it seems as though it never had its first one!

Sweet Jesus what a mess 😞 makes me annoyed that people think it’s ok to just trash places 😢
Its probably normal living for the ones doing it.
Amazing little place would be so peaceful in the day with the sunlight, without all the overgrowth tho
A very nice little place too bad it was a mess,
Oops a daisy! 😀 Nice little vid as usual.
WHAT A LOVELY COTTAGE , SADLY ABANDONED , I WISH I HAD ONE AND SUCH A PEACEFUL PLACE , TOO BAD ABOUT THE MESS
looks like the person died in 2006. as you say a teacher from a girls school in the sixties. the L reg car is 1993.
Love your videos
👌👌👌 lovely content as always. Love the start as per 🤣♥️
Why is it always trashed?! 😩😭 people can’t just let things be.
It goes to show you when we leave this world it is just stuff.
Love you videos .how do you find these places ?
Hope someone rescues that lovely cottage before nature completely reclaims it - wish I could!

Such a shame. Although there’s lots of stuff it was all probably stored in an orderly way originally
She certainly had plenty of possessions.
Wow that 1962 photo was 57 years old
Don’t open the fridge until your on the way out 😂
It’s a rover Montego diesel 93’tax was last due April 2005
What is that music? ????waaaaaaauw....please,someone tell me cos I keep playing that little part over and over and over...who is this?????
I do think people trashed it, but it had to be somewhat of a mess to begin with, I mean, there's a lot of stuff in that house. lol
Please Please can you wear protective gloves and breathing respirators on your travels. The items you are touching most likely will have severe bacteria on it, not to mention the mold spores.
Stay Safe 😷
