😊I saw the final punch list and walk thru on the home you brothers and crew was remodeling, great job!!! Thanks for the tours of old, new, and repo homes. It's really interesting to see what can be salvaged remodeled, and become lived in again. I like the way you guys think according to one man's trash can be another 's treasure . It has been resourceful watching "My brother Donnie"(&Ronnie).😊
I mean this sincerely. 2024 sucked ( for a lot of people ) but you two guys was one of the few bright spots. I lost 8 people and a family friend doggie that I loved as much as if he was my own. I can't have doggies I got rotten cats. Y'all have made me laugh and enjoy mobile homes. I love em love em love em. I wish I'd gotten into the trailer bidness, If I'd lived closer to my Uncle I might'a gone into it. Donnie's a national treasure with his too funny expressions and your content is always interesting. Bless y'all and your families! :)
I lived in an older mobile home that had the front door open to the hallway wall. Upset me to no end! I could not get my sofa in. It had really big windows that i guess could be removed but i am just me. Hurt my feelings. Nice home except for the doors.
I am a plumber. The water heater is 100% because of the rebate. I live in a trailer home on 10 acres. I plan to install one of the hybrids because you can use it to heat your home as well. Pretty cheap to run to.
Yep yep! If this was my place I'd keep that "Laundry folding area" as a extension of the kitchen (For my coffee pot and put the mugs on the shelf) and also have a place for the microwave there. The nook where the hot water heater is I'd keep for a freezer (Your not going to be digging in the freezer at the same time your folding laundry) so if need be I'd plop my basket on top and do my folding there and if we really want to make it work put a shelf up above it and have even more storage. Does TRIPLE duty. Love the layout of the kitchen (I'd also reinforce that island and make it do double duty too with a pop up table sitting right under the edge of the bar for family dinner). - The feature wall is nice but I dont NEED it (If I can lower price on anything best bet I'm doing it dont need it to look FANCY). - Dont NEED the double sink in the master, Id opt for a linen storage instead of the 2nd sink if at all possible.
That range hood looks like it was made in the Clayton factory. I've never seen one of those before in stores. This is really a nice single wide. I like the kitchen and does have ample storage. But for being a 76 footer the master is a little on the small side. But I could live with it. I like the shower in the master bath.
What i notice is that all the cabinets do not have any shelves in them. Tall cabinets, no shelves. Are the shelves there and not just installed? Love your videos, so enjoying them
We have pretty much the same exact cabinets in our Clayton doublewide we bought last year. They’re big, but the shelves are too short and kind of flimsy. I’ll probably have to redo the shelves in a year or two with something better quality.
@mybrotherdonnie most city apartments are built this way, I lived in NY all my life & at almost 60 yrs. I have never seen an apartment here in NY built any other way. The baseboard vents are always up against the side the wall & the electrical outlets are aboved them, you will hardly never see a heat vents in the floors here NY not even in private houses. Well, I can honestly say in all these years there has never been any issues with the baseboard heat line up against the wall & the receptacles being right above them 😊😊😊 🤷🏾♀️
Nice mobile home, I like the finishes and upgrades. And I'll just bet there's no $5K price reduction corresponding to that 'rebate" (sorry Donnie). Did you find out what the asking price was?
Since they keep these open for folks to walk through you would think they would keep an info sheet on the island with info like price, features, ect. I guess they are afraid to scare folks off, lol.
Because it depends on the different packages that they offer, and location, permits and the list goes on. They can't just post a price, be cause it depends on so many different factors. They can give you a ball park price, but many things come into play.
Hi guys this is a nice home just not my type. The shower in the master needs to be the knee wall with the glass top surround and it needs to be real tile. At least if I buy one I want my area to be a little fancier
You get a rebate when you pay your sales taxes on the home and you can hook solar panels up to any Clayton 2024 or newer every Clayton Homes comes with a super efficient carrier heat pump They bring the heat pump and AC unit when they set the house up
If that mobile home is built like their stick homes it will fall apart soon as you hook it to a truck lol They're business model is if there is a perfect house we didnt do it
Guys, I have Run a Instant hot water Propane, setup that cost me 100,00 7 years ago, It works Perfect, Its Propane, Does not take up any room, That's what should be Used in this Mobile homes, and The one I have is meant, for Camper's , I Run hot water and stove off a 100 pound tank, I refill every 4 month's 300 a year, for water and cooking. Guys that's the Truth
We tried a couple electric Insta hot in a hair salon, constantly having problems out of it but like I say it was electric we went back with an old fashion water tank
Make this a 2/2 and finished drywall and real wood cabinets and it in normal house size windows and not those giant windows. It would be a nice home for one person to down size. Shame there isn’t room for a dining table.. And why do these companies use a flat piece of wood or even plastic as crown molding. It’s cheap and stupid looking. Some manufacturers use real crown molding to stand out.

Yep a lot of people don’t like the way the door is
Really nice home. Being new makes a difference, but, this one is really nice.
Yep
That siding will let water inside. No flashing on the transition.
I am a plumber. The water heater is 100% because of the rebate. I live in a trailer home on 10 acres. I plan to install one of the hybrids because you can use it to heat your home as well. Pretty cheap to run to.
Ok thanks
Definitely an upgraded home, that $5000.00 rebate got Donnie's attention! Have a good weekend guys!
Money always gets my attention lol

You really thought this one through
@@mybrotherdonnie Haha yep I'm looking for the lifetime home on a extreme budget. -- Sadly I'm still on pre-covid prices.
Nice looking mobile home exterior!
I thought the same
You nailed it Ronnie, great intro!
Thanks
Good morning Donnie and Ronnie! 🌞
What a nice single wide! Have a good day and see you next time
See you then

It is a very nice kitchen
Dang Donnie, I have a cold too. I hate a cold. Hope we both feel better soon.
I’m better now
Great tour guys
Thanks
This is well built. Workmanship is great. I don't personally like the trendy finishes but they do seem better built than most.
Yep
What i notice is that all the cabinets do not have any shelves in them. Tall cabinets, no shelves. Are the shelves there and not just installed? Love your videos, so enjoying them
In the bottom
We have pretty much the same exact cabinets in our Clayton doublewide we bought last year. They’re big, but the shelves are too short and kind of flimsy. I’ll probably have to redo the shelves in a year or two with something better quality.
Lmbo 🤣🤣🤣🤣 ....Donnie, come to NY you will a lot of baseboard vents right up against the lower part of the wall with receptacles right above them....
Not good
@mybrotherdonnie most city apartments are built this way, I lived in NY all my life & at almost 60 yrs. I have never seen an apartment here in NY built any other way. i have a 30 gallon 3800w single element and have to run it at 140*f to keep up.
Nice looking home
I thought so also
Those pantry cabinets need shelves in them. Trying to add them later is hard because the cabinet walls are cheaply thin!!!!
Yep
Nice mobile home, I like the finishes and upgrades. And I'll just bet there's no $5K price reduction corresponding to that 'rebate" (sorry Donnie). Did you find out what the asking price was?
No, I did not get the price. I called them so much that they act like I was bugging them.
Happy New Year. 🙂
Happy new year
Since they keep these open for folks to walk through you would think they would keep an info sheet on the island with info like price, features, ect. I guess they are afraid to scare folks off, lol.
Yep
That’s a nice house right there
Yep
A lot of these dealers websites don't seem to post prices. I wonder why that is?
Because it depends on the different packages that they offer, and location, permits and the list goes on. They can't just post a price, be cause it depends on so many different factors. They can give you a ball park price, but many things come into play.
I can get a rebate! 😂
Ronnie said you can not

It's ok. I prefer some drywall and crown moulding. Not crazy about the vent on the door.
Yeah, the vents do not look that good in the door
If that mobile home is built like their stick homes it will fall apart soon as you hook it to a truck lol
They're business model is if there is a perfect house we didnt do it
We was talking about the bathtub being like a bathtub in a stick built house
these must be 80 grand USD still a good investment if your rents start higher than a used one
Probably over 100
That is a coffee bar!
Ok
New Year algorithm comment 😊
Thank you sir
$85,672.00 is the base price (Jan 5, 2025)
Thanks

@@mybrotherdonnie Why did you go with Electric, Gas Is Cheaper, and Like I said, Not 1 problem In 7 years dude
@ commercial building did not have gas. The breaker box was right beside where I was putting it so I tried it.
That's not high end, looks like the cheapest matetial.
You should see the other things we look at
3:24 But some are made just as good or even better. Trust me. D.R. Horton worst build quality ever!
THIS IS NOT HIGH END. NO. NO. NO. I HAVE SEEN HIGH END AND THIS IS NOT IT.
