You have to remember, the judges are OG’s they appreciate the originality Hong10 and F.E bring to the table. A lot of the moves you see the vets perform are original moves they invented. Originality and execution wins major competition.

What I usually think when I see results like this is that the environment is the King; it dictates the rules. The Outbreak is a championship with Cypher's vibe, where the audience is closer, and the judges end up giving more value to bboys who explore musicality and improvisation. There is a factor that no 4k camera will be able to capture, which is the energy of the battle.

What solves this issue (although introduces another issue) is the scoring that shows the round by round votes. Either way, if you listen to the interviews about this event, this was all about the good vibes and hanging out with old friends. No one seemed to be upset about the outcome of their battles or the judging
Breaking is really cool and could be more popular but it needs real judges who actually know how to judge. The judging is horrible not just in this event but in others
