Poverty is slavery. I see extreme poverty everyday of my life. The worst part is the gross disparity of wealth and poverty in my country. It causes me much heart sore to see this each day and know how privileged I am. And the strange thing is some of the happiest people I've met live in tin shacks and literally live from day to day. Some days there's enough to eat other days not so much. But they still find joy. This inspires me.

@@TheChopraWell I worked in Soweto for nearly 3 years. It was a transformative experience. And even now in the Eastern Cape where I built a new life I have been to visit our gardener in the township for his birthday. He lives in a 2 room tin shack with his wife and 4 children. They all sleep in the same room. His name is Victor. He and I have become great friends. He is always laughing and quick with a joke and knows all the village gossip. We help him and his family as much as we can to help live more comfortably. But yes joy doesn't come from material wealth only. Joy comes from having peace in your soul. Thank you Deepak 🙏❤

This is so very true that you have shared....I'm from India. I just wanted to share my experience with all..... that a good work which I believe is a service to God; does keep us in abundance. It's not wealth it's Bliss which we feel right inside us.
I give free coaching classes to underprivileged junior and high school students....and that makes me so happy keeps me stress free always.....
my favourite teachers are you, Swami Swarvapriyananda and Dr. Wayne Dyer......I keep listening to your lectures which are like SATSANG for me.....thank you very much.....

There is a huge push to help others with insight aka enlightenment. I suppose there is a sense that a need to get people in a better space because something big is coming. I have sensed this for 4 years now. It has to do with percieved reality. I wonder if im nuts or is others such as yourself feel like i do. When your world is upside down fear can take over. Hold on and know that things will change and everything will work out. Help one another and dont freek out comes to mind. We are in a better place than we know. Bless you and others like you.!
