This is the song inspiring my to one day learn guitar. I want to play this, I want to feel the peacefulness envelop those around me, to bring them into the most beautiful guitar instrumental I've ever personally heard. I've listened to Santana, Jimi Hendrix, Joe Satriani, even Angel Vivaldi. This is the only song that has ever moved me to tears.
One of my favorite songs of all time! It's so rare that music without lyrics holds my attention. . . but this one is enthralling. The layering is utter perfection. Thank you for making this song.
Not to double comment but this is worth a double comment: this is really one of the greatest things ever and it has been since the first time I heard it twelve or so years ago.
Goodness... it's like discovering a masterpiece all over again! It's hard to put the emotion into words. For some reason this song reminds me of Finding Nemo.
I'm going to try and cover this. Curious, how faithful is this to the studio one? Editing my comment after this because my initial tuning guess was very bad.
This version is pretty faithful to the original. The tuning here is actually DADGAD (the original recording is also that, but downtuned to C-sharp). Both versions were recorded with a DD-20 delay/looper in one take. An additional synth pedal was used underneath the loop on the YDBH version.

My mind is ascending into peacefulness that i didn't know existed. Thank you for this masterpiece

Just as good, if not better, than when I discovered this song. Well done!
