I actually extended the fuselage boom aprox. 3" Be aware that the stock tail rotor motor will give up sooner or later as it is over worked as the scale stabilizer shades the airflow. I was lucky that it happened just coming in for a landing at 2' hight

Actually the tail rotor got over powered, a problem when using the MD-500 fuselage with the scale stabilizer with the FW-450 mechanics. You can hear through out the video how hard this little motor has to work to stabilize the heli. Thanks for watching.
