i'm happy for you, and think it's a good move! however, im going to make a suggestion... is there a possibility that the bestie basics could get the book club reading vlog? im in other patreon book clubs and the extra content like you're providing is in the highest tier while we still get the book club video at the lowest tier. i'm happy to support you, but i think others who can't afford the highest tier would still like you hear your thoughts on the book club pick we choose.

I have read all the comments (positive and negative) and I never felt so conflicted. At the end of the day you do you and I don’t understand people who are already judging you for making differences between who can pay and who can’t when you have literally have done nothing yet. Is there a risk you’ll start preferring the monetized account/content? Maybe. People’s careers change all the time, and I think some subscribers forget that you are a person as well. You make the decisions that are good for your career and your professional life. Content takes time and as I am not an influencer, I am no one to judge if this was the right move or not.
I do feel left out, but I think it’s crazy people would pay just to get behind the scenes and chatting with you. You go girl! I wish I could ask people to pay me to talk to me. I hope it goes well for you, but I’ll stay on UA-cam.

Just jumping on here as a person who can’t afford any of my fav’s patterns at the current moment to say ANYONE who is being negative about this isn’t a real supporter. You’re not forcing anyone to subscribe and you’re not leaving UA-cam. You’re creating a brand/buisness/career out of this and without more income, there’s less content you’re able to make for those of us on here who can’t join a Patreon right now. Complaining about you pursuing expansion and financial security while also doing what you love isn’t support. I know you worry about people’s perceptions etc but please don’t let one single negative comment about you making a choice that ensures there’s food in your stomach, clothes on your back, books for your videos, and any necessities for your health at your disposal get to you. It’s ignorance or just a lack of empathy on their part. Will support you always with whatever means I have available. You don’t work for free girly pop and you shouldn’t have to.
