I'm so glad he's doing well now. Bailey seems like a genuinely decent bloke so he deserves all this success.
He definitely struggled to adapt to the league and took his time and I think there were definitely moments when we all doubted him but fair play to the man because he's overcome all of that and proved everyone wrong.
Hope he continues to bring success to Villa - let's win something this year.
He wasn't adapting, he was injured and his teammates didn't believe in him as for the fans, if you really take notice from the start of his villa Carrier continuo, Luis and magin and allot more hardly pass to him they mostly play the ball around him, example his assist vs fullam that Watkins score he look at him out of shock Watkins couldn't believe that he was capable of doing that. Now look at Watkins once he look up and see bailey he's giving him the ball same for magin

He used to get the ball and then would run it into a blind alley and get bullied off the ball because he wasn't very strong.
Now he's able to keep hold of the ball more because he's adapted to the physicality of the Premier League.

Even before the start of this season, the fans were more critical of Bailey than others who have had a similar reasonable but not overwhelming season . His strength of character and quiet determination has pulled him through, not the villa fans . Now they are singing his praises.
