I am from mustang !!when I was 13 year old I use to go to watch nomads yak sheep and goat in mountain and hills so that time I use to listen radio and his music and songs so heart touching even though I do t understand all !!! Great singer

Techung lak,Your music inspires me,a younger Tibetan(28),Had to flee my home, my blovinng temples in truly holy Lhasa. parents passed, freinds lost,yet here I am another consumer in Americ- Chinese government which does not Represent Chinese people in act, but the Chinese Gov have the power of force,so they R doing everything to control Chinese People's mind,Opressing is is legal,no talk.
We are trying to preserve our Tibetan language yet writing in Engli, May be we can comunicate in BOYIk
when i was young, i thought tibetan songs sounded corny but now i am 20 and as music as my salvation, i'm really seeing the importance, our pride, our duty to preserve the tradition. i'm trying music as a side career. when i realized the pentatonic scale is also used in mainly tibetan music like the blues, it took some learning of music theory for me to realize that we use the same scale as the blues. now it just sounds so good to my ears. as youngsters, we always think parents music is corny.
Cho Techung la your voices for tibet's situations is really a big moral for all the tibetans, hope it would play a vital to come out from the situation one day !!
