It seems I grabbed the wrong ring. I just checked and the white gold ring is a 26 on the Manticore and the ring I used in the video is a silver .925. That's why it rang up so high . Sorry about that .

Hi Jim , thank you . I needed a new machine because my warranty was up on the Equinox and I didn't want to get it wet anymore. So far I like the Manticore. Weather or not it was worth the $1700.00 we will find out . Thanks for watching .

Hi Scott , I have been to the beach once with it. I did dig a lot of deep targets . The video from that hunt will be the next video. A comment left here by cypherf0x said " The 30dBm limit by the FCC is radio frequency emissions. The coil of a detector is an inductor and creates a magnetic field so there can be 50% more power output from the coil It's a magnetic field oscillating to a frequency, not a radio transmission." . I don't know enough about electronics to know . I think Merrill should have said ( Did they lie ? ) in question form. To just come out and say ( They lied ! ) Seems a bit like defamation to me. I am going to be out there tomorrow with it for the afternoon low tide . We will see how we do. Thanks for watching .
Hi I Dig Daytona. This was very helpful and interesting. I got to say I really enjoyed your videos a lot . I think you explain things very well. Your not all technical but speak to in terms that we all can understand. Cheers. Nice work. Take care. 🏖️🏝️🏖️🏝️✌️✌️💯💯💯💯

Nice testing Brian. Thank you for the video. The vastly different number range would take me a while to get used to. I wish you continued success and fun finding wonderful and interesting things.
Your test surely show some more power, I mean looking at the gauss meter there is no denying that. I’ve already seen videos calling BS on the “more power” claim due to the FCC controlling the bandwidth/radiation emitted by detectors. Allegedly everyone is dancing on the max power output before the manticore. However I’d bet they figured out how to read the signals coming back from the ground more effectively to filter and search better. Best of luck can’t wait to see real results.
Hi Spicey , I think that is a big part . I suspect the extra depth could be from the receiver being able to hear deeper return signals but the Manticore did have more output than the Equinox as well. I can't wait for the water to warm up at the beach and get some depositors swimming around out there . Thanks for watching .
The 30dBm limit by the FCC is radio frequency emissions. The coil of a detector is an inductor and creates a magnetic field so there can be 50% more power output from the coil It's a magnetic field oscillating to a frequency, not a radio transmission.
@@cypherf0x yup that’s how a detector works 😂. Just saying what I’ve already observed from other channels that are claiming some huge conspiracy that minelab is claiming “more power” but the output listed on their spec sheet (which I guess was not as transparent and hidden compared to other machines they sell and it only fueled their fire) that of the equinox series. I just think it’s funny. From what I’ve seen from the manticore on channels it likes to go deep so I will be purchasing one after the stock gets replenished.
Bottle Caps 🍾 don't form as a Round DOT on the mid Au & Ag LINE....I plan2 only DIG nice round DOTs.....what's VDI on Green salty penny & nickel ? Also Black salty Silver ? Idea4 next vid ? Great work on this 1 ....keep 'em comn' !! 🍷 Cheers
Hi John , I have only had it to the beach one time and have not run into a bottle cap yet. If I did , it came up as iron and I didn't dig it. I may have to wait till the next big storm to dig any black silver coins. The sand has been washing back in and its getting hard to find much out there . The water is cold right now so not many depositors getting wet. It will start to warm back up in a few weeks and then its game on ! Thanks for watching .
Hello from the old man my friend. I think you are going to have a lot of fun learning how to use your new machine. It looks amazing and I hope you find lots of treasure. Sorry I’m late again I was at my pulmonary doctor about all day doing more tests. I think I’m gonna get some great news. Stay safe my friend enjoy that machine.
Great test there Brian. I'm not yet ready to pull the trigger on the Manticore yet. Gonna wait a bit longer for some more tests and info to see if it's worth the money. Thanks for sharing
Hi 714, with tax the Manticore cost me $1700. I need to dig a bunch of gold to make it pay for itself . It may surprise me , but I may not do any better than I did with the Equinox 600. Time will tell . Thanks for watching .
Thanks for doing this test! Glad you kept the machines at equal sensitivities when doing the milliGAUSS testing. I noticed at 16:00 , a White gold ring giving a very high reading. 🤔 Did you acid test it? I haven’t seen too many pieces of gold hit that high in conductivity….a large gold coin ($20 double eagle) or very large gold ring (over 20 grams) can be high conductive. Anyway, thanks again for all your testing.👍🏼
Hi CAPTN DAN , it seems I grabbed the wrong ring. I just checked and the white gold ring is a 26 on the Manticore and the ring I used in the video is a silver .925. That's why it rang up so high . Sorry about that . Thanks for watching .
I like your demonstration, I hope to see more! I'm collecting Manticore TID values. Your white gold ring TID 85 was very interesting to see. What Brand and Model of Milligauss meter are you using? As you said, if it plots on the nonferrous line, you got to dig it. Your white gold ring really expands Surfside Dan TID gold range. Surfside Dan digs TID 1 to 69. TiD 70 to 99, Silver and Copper. He's not interested in digging, neither am I. He didn't have a white gold ring in his collection, so your demo expanded my TID range. TID Mapping: I find it interesting that Minelab has mapped the TID of the Equinox to the Manticore to 3-Regions. I've calculated the Spread, percent and percent difference of the TID Regions to help show how Minelab has redistributed the Equinox TID. Three TID Regions of the Equinox mapped to the Manticore: Equinox TID Regions: (0 to 13), (14 to 26), (27 to 39). TID Spread: 14, 13, 13. Percent of TID Range: 35%, 32.5%, 32.5% Manticore TID Regions: (0 to 29), (30 to 82), (83 to 99). TID Spread: 30, 53, 17. Percent of TID Range: 30%, 53%, 17%. Percent change from Equinox: (-5%), (+20.5%), (-15.5%). Self fusing silicon tape: Self fusing silicon tape, I'm looking forward to your experience using it. One concern I have is ,will the sand embed into the tape? I'm going to wrap the perimeter of the coil with it to give it a rubber bumper. And if I like how it performs, I'll and bumpers to the display perimeter. I'll also explore adding a plastic shield over the speaker to stop sand and water from getting inside. Maybe the silicon tape can seal it off. Grip/Handle: As to the grip design, I'm going to experiment changing it's shape. Where my pinky lays it may need to be wider? Where my finger bump up and under a protrusion behind and under the display 'finger rest', I'm going to test adding a 'T" to widen it out. The handle wobbles too much. I placed the finger of my opposite hand under and across the 'finger rest', and it felt like I had better control. Maybe I can use that plastic clay that cures in an oven, they sell for jewelry to form a ridged custom shape. Then tape it to the handle to hold it in place. I really don't want to be gluing stuff to a new detector. I'm hoping that I can use the self fusing silicone tape to hold it together? Coil: I'm going to use the M8 coil for the beach. With the improved Noise Cancel feature and the increased Sensitivity, I think it will do well on the beach. I also need to lower the weight, I feel it's too much strain on my forearm. I'm going to look into adding a counter weight to the end of the shaft so it's not nose heavy. The counter balance should make the larger coil work for me as well. HH
Hi Pigeon Blood Ruby , the meter I used is a K2EMFmeter from St. Augustine FL , made in USA. You can find them on line . On the number scale on the Manticore , from what I have tried gold and be as low as a 4 or 5 and as high as 97 on .999 gold coins . The silicone tape performed great. The sand wipes off . Using a counter weight would help if you use a larger coil. Thanks for watching .

Congratulations Brian on the Manticore. That is one fine machine. Probably going to take a little getting used to but as much as you're out there it won't take long. Enjoyed the video that was some very interesting comparisons. I was hoping that the dream squasher numbers on the Manticore would be so different compared to the gold and silver that you could finally get those blanked out but looks like you're still going to have to dig them. LOL. Take care and be safe out there Brian.
Hi Danny , just no way to avoid the dream squashers without possibly missing gold because to the machines they sound like a gold ring. Non ferrous with a hole in the middle . Looking forward to the water warming up and the return of the Mermaids ! Thanks for watching .
Can’t wait to hear after you field test some. Especially with large iron target discrimination. I’ve been digging a lot of chunks of old boats lately lol
Hi East Coast Digs , I don't generally dig iron . The next video is a beach hunt with the Manticore and I did dig a few iron targets to be sure it was iron , and as we expected it was rusty iron. The 2D map is the thing that I think will make a big difference. This week we have low tides in the afternoon and I will be out there swinging the Manticore . Thanks for watching .
@@idigdaytona4478 thanks for the reply, I’ll definitely tune in to see how you like it. The price tag is a little steep for the benefits over my 800 for me but definitely looks like a great machine
iam still waiting for my manticore i mainly hunt the beaches here in australia,i have the ctx witch is giving me a sore shoulder so i need something lighter, interesting hearing you say a detector that would only find gold i bought a whites beach hunter tdi and i found on the manual ground balance you could set the machine to high tone on small lead, any size gold, the dreaded pull tab and very small your size half dime, the rest including large silver coins and rings would low tone along with iron, big iron would low then high as it came off the target, yes its not perfect but its what comes after this improvement.cheers
I love the manitcore but I got a 900. Got it at a good price. This minelab bashing has got out of hand. People need to do more research before complaining. The proprietary bluetooth is the new standard for low latency. APTX LL used on the 800 is now unsupported and obsolete. You can't blame minelab for that. Bluetooth is constantly changing and low latency becomes complicated.
Hi Mike , I'm not a fan of the wireless headphones or even cell phones . Strapping a radio transmitter / receiver to your head may not be a good idea health wise in the long run. Time will tell . Thanks for watching .
Hi guys , it measures electric fields . You can get it near electric sources / appliances and if its emitting a field you can measure it. Thanks for watching .
Nice vett🙂... Glad you finally got your new machine!. Very interesting how all the same kind of metals rang up differently I guess by composite and shapes even though they're similar..... I know you already did the testing but I was curious about something on the manticore... If do you ever get a chance to do more testing..try.. some crumpled up piece of foil a pull-tab, a pull ring, a ball of rocket leftovers, bottle caps rusted and not rusted, cooper junk.. just usual suspects and crap that we find on the beach.. curious wanted to see what the Manticore would throw out on the numbers and where the line would be as far as Ferris non-ferrous if it shows up.on the screen as non-ferrous and what the shape was and things like that.. but I understand time is valuable so if you can never get to it no worries 😉.. But thank you for doing the video it was cool..btw I never seen one of those machines that you have that test the power output.. that's really cool.... Good luck on the beach! 🏴☠️
Hi SBD , I have only had the Manticore out for one hunt so far . My afternoon low tides are next week so I will be out there swinging. I'm sure any aluminum I swing over will be right on the line . It will take some time to learn the machine. I do like the 2D map feature. I also want to do some park hunting with it . I will put the park hunts up on my other You Tube channel Daytona Off The Beach . Thanks for watching .
Nice test, if you are attempting to test true output power and you want to test apples to apples, then you should set both machines to the same single frequency and use the gauss meter as a reference. Simply place them both in 10kHz and do the same test. In Multi-IQ mode, the Manticore has an advantage since it uses a new lower 2.5kHz signal. Everyone knows lower frequencies have longer wavelengths and when you drive them using the same power, the lower will travel further. I haven't seen anyone debating if this new lower frequency will detect an inch or two deeper, the debate was if they were outputting more power than the previous models. You can turn the sensitivity down to zero and it will not affect the gauss meter's readings. The only settings that affect the transmitter are the search mode (Park1/2, Field 1/2, etc.) and the selected frequencies. You should test all of the search modes to find which one is using the highest ratio of the lowest frequencies (this is part of the algorithms).
In addition to beefing up the transmitter's circuitry to better handle the newly added lower frequencies and the necessary improvements to the receiver circuitry, Minelab's biggest improvements have been made to the processing circuitry. Taking the results from the receiver circuitry, cleaning it up by stripping away the noise and EMF, and looking at the ferrous/conductivity levels to paint you a picture. So comparing how the two machines process deep targets isn't proving anything about output power, it is showing the increased computing power and why you might want to spend a little more money.
Hi Dan , I'm not that into electronics to know . I just wanted a simple test to see if the signal from the Manticore was detectable at a greater distance from the coil . It appears that it does. Another comment by cypherf0x,cypherf0x mentioned : The 30dBm limit by the FCC is radio frequency emissions. The coil of a detector is an inductor and creates a magnetic field so there can be 50% more power output from the coil It's a magnetic field oscillating to a frequency, not a radio transmission.
@@idigdaytona4478 It is true that the type of radiation that is needed for these machines to detect buried treasure is the magnetic field portion. The rest of the transmitted radiation (the electrical RF signal) bounces off the earth. When they use electricity to create the wanted magnetic field they also have to transmit an electrical RF signal. This is an unavoidable side effect, you cannot have one without the other. It would be great if they could separate them from each other, but when you use electricity to do work there will be magnetic and electrical radiation created. These two are like two sides of a coin, increasing one increases the other too. The magnetic field is normally used in motors while the RF is normally used to transmit radio signals. But as I said earlier, these two are going to be present together. Try to listen to an AM radio when the bender is turned on. The magnetic fields in the bender's motor windings kick out the unwanted electrical RF interference (EMF electromagnetic field) making the radio unusable. As a result, they make a meter like the one that you own. Your meter is designed to measure the EMF that is created by electrical work, so it is perfect to monitor the wanted magnetic field of the transmitted signal. If you want to see how the transmitted magnetic fields compare, then put both machines on the same frequency mode and you can see how they compare The FCC is only interested in electrical radiation and they have set a cap for hobby equipment (no license required) for frequencies above 9kHz. To keep those levels down, the manufacturers need to limit the magnetic fields and RF levels.
The manticore clearly differentiates targets by the vdi better than the equinox. The only reason the vdi on the nox is more stable is because the vdi scale is smaller. I prefer the broader vdi scale on the manticore. The nox according to the vdi, says you have a bunch of the exact same rings which we know isn't true. Size and weight makes a difference. The larger vdi scale shows us the difference.
Hi lowracer1, it surely does that . It's going to take me some time hunting with it to get used to the larger VDI scale. For me , the map will make a big difference. Thanks for watching .
I like the fact that the pull tab rang up 29/30 while the gold rings were 26-28. that can definitely save some time digging! My manticore is still awaiting fulfillment :(
Hi Sandman4224 , don't try and skip what you think are pull tabs because you could miss some gold . Because they are non ferrous and have a hole in them its easy for them to fool the machine. On the beach I dig everything but iron . Foil too , you need to dig it or you can miss something good . I think you will like the Manticore when it gets there . Happy hunting and thanks for watching .
Hi ohiofredl , I like the 2D screen . I think it will be helpful avoiding some of the junk . I have only had it to the beach one time . I did dig some iron junk but I could tell it was likely junk before I dug it . The red line under the numbers is very helpful identifying iron. I have not found a bottle cap yet so they may have been some of the targets I passed up due to the red line and print on the 2D map. Time will tell . Thank you for watching .
Your white gold is ringing up like silver that seems odd to me but I always thought that only made a small difference in VDI but now I know that is not true as far as the Manticore I think where we are going to notice a difference is in smaller or thin chains. How much of a difference well may be an inch but that will put more gold and silver in the chest. Hay keep it up I really enjoy watching may one day I come up and would like to meet you. Oh ya by the way I down here in Hollywood between Ft Lauderdale and Miami. Remember keep fun and Happy Hunting 🙂👍..
Hi Martin , I did mistake a silver ring for the white gold. The white gold ring rang up a 26 but the big 14k gold pendent rang up an 80 on the Manticore and a 24 / 25 on the Equinox. So gold can ring up across the board . I dig everything but iron on the beach . You have some great beaches down your way . My buddy found a Rolex watch in a lump of seaweed down there . It was valued at $4,000 . Keep swinging and thanks for watching .
The video of the meter you can see the colors just fine. Would been nice if I had my Equinox 700 there to compare as it has the same scale as the Manticore more or less.
Hi David , if the Equinox 700 has the same number scale I would imagine it would have the same VDI on the targets like the Vanquish and the gen 1 Equinox. Thanks for watching .
Hi Brian, I appreciate all your information . Giving the cost difference between the Manticore at $1600 and the Nox 800 at $800. Do you feel the Manticore is worth it, In it's price and performance? Great video 👍. Thanks. G.
Hi Gregg , being its winter and there is not much going on down on the beach at the moment its hard to say . Daytona Beach gets hunted hard by tourists and locals . There are a lot of Equinox's out there. When I took the Manticore out I got in a spot where I was finding a few coins. They were all super deep . I wonder if they were there because all the beach hunters swinging the Equinox could not detect them at that depth . If that was the case the Manticore could be a game changer when the jewelry starts dropping in the water . Too early to say . The Equinox 600 for $599. is a very good value . Not that hard for the machine to pay for itself with a ring or two. The Equinox 800 costs more because of the prospecting mode frequencies . Those frequencies are no good on the beach due to the salt . That's why I bought the Equinox 600. I have a gold machine and didn't see the need to spend the extra money on features I would not be able to use on the beach . Unless you intend to hunt tiny nuggets someplace I would save the money and go with the Equinox 600. The $200 savings could go a long way on a nice beach scoop. The Manticore at $1700 after sales tax is going to be a bit harder to pay for itself. I will find out this summer . They are all very good machines. You just have to spend the time swinging them. Good luck and thanks for watching .
Hi Gary , I don't have those machines or I would have done that . I do want to check Jimmy Crossbones CTX 30 30 . Now I'm wondering if 30 inch signal is where the 30 30 name came from . That could be it. Thanks for watching .
How does a 18 become a 39 and a 24 become a 80? Pritty big gap there? The 1 2 on the 800 is a 456 on manticore doesnt leave much room for iron etc? I think the target trace is great idea at shallow depth will help with aluminium stuff! But then at depth it's picking up iron. I like the vdi on the 800 and iron bias is good too don't dig much bottle caps or iron at any depth. But do dig aluminium tho. I think Dues 2 is king 👑 it has same feature as target trace can tell aluminum etc at shallow depth. But also it does not struggle at depth and no problem with deep iron
Hi Mark , the Manticore is going to take a bit of getting used to . The Equinox gives a negative number on ferrous metals and the Manticore shares the numbers on ferrous and non ferrous , but it does put a red line under the number if the target is ferrous , plus it shows it in the shaded area of the 2D map to help identify the target as ferrous metal . I have only been to the beach with it one time and most everything I dug was max depth on the depth indicator . It does like deep targets . I bumped my beach hunt video to next Friday because of the accusation of Minelab lying about more power . I think the machine does go deeper than my Equinox. I had to make room for my grab handle a few times because the holes were getting so deep . Time will tell but so far I like the machine . Thanks for watching .
@@idigdaytona4478 ok will be interesting to see in time how it goes. I'm aiming at the 900 for myself. But target trace on manticore and deus 2 is a real winner shallow depth! I like the vdi nos of the 800 and its good with iron at depth. Wouldn't mind knowing if the manticore or 900 is better with emi? Also with black sand etc and seawater
Hi Mark , the Manticore puts a blue wavy line under the number if it goes off on salt . I had a few false signals that chirped and it gave me the blue line . I think its going to be a great machine on the beach. It would be nice if you could choose the VDI number scale of the old Equinox rather than have to learn new VDI numbers . I wonder why they changed it up . Thanks for watching .
@@idigdaytona4478 I agree I kinda like the simple nos but maybe with the spread might help abit with pull tabs etc? I hope to learn if it's better with mineralised ground and if better in saltwater? Also emi
Hi Mark , with the VDI number spread being so large I think I will be relying more on the 2D map rather than the numbers . On the beach I dig everything but iron and it has worked well for me over the years. Thanks for watching .
It would pick up deeper in the ground.Because of the halo effect.minelabs never have been any. Good in air test.and this doesn't reflect on actual in ground hunting conditions and has no bearing.on actual performace.
Hi Robert , that's why I said its an air test. Even burying a target would not give it a halo effect because it takes time for the halo to form in the ground as the minerals leach into the surrounding sand / soil . I did it to show equal conditions . Thanks for watching .
Hi Amogus 360 noscope , the signal emitted from the coil is an electro magnetic frequency EMF . This is why I measured the EMF signal to see how far away from the coil I could detect it. Thanks for watching .
Hi александр слепой , the pendent is 14k gold . Another person commented they thought it was plated due to it ringing up so high. I tested 5 stacked .999 one oz gold coins and the Manticore read 97 . Gold can be anyplace on the VDI on the Manticore . Thanks for watching .
Hi Tom , I just ran the Manticore over 5 stacked one ounce .999 gold coins . It rang up 97. It rings up high because it a big thick piece of gold . Thanks for watching .
Hi Dan , the Manticore did put out more signal distance than the Equinox. Also both coils are the same size. I can't say about the windings in the coil as far as wire diameter . I did a beach hunt with the Manticore and most everything I dug was max depth on the depth indicator. Leaving me wondering if they were signals missed my all the other Equinox swingers out there . Time will tell . Thanks for watching .
Those so called Air tests don't mean much, when something is buried in the ground the detector is going to give different numbers, you have to take the different soils or beach sand into account,
Hi DNS , I know that . That's why I said its an air test . Even digging a hole and burying a target will not be the same because due to the lack of the halo effect . That can take a long time to form in the ground . I was just doing a simple test with all things being equal . Thanks for watching .
Hi Claude , my Equinox 600 paid for itself every year. I don't know that this one will do that . We will soon see. We just need the water to warm up and get some jewelry dropping into the surf. Thanks for watching .
It seems I grabbed the wrong ring. I just checked and the white gold ring is a 26 on the Manticore and the ring I used in the video is a silver .925. That's why it rang up so high . Sorry about that .

Wow the new detector is cool! Happy treasure hunting!! 💖💖💖💖💖😍😍😍stay safe!
Hi Joanne , will do .
Hi Verette , thank you . More on the way , thanks for watching .

Hi Philip , more on the way . Thank you for watching .
I appreciate the effort that you put into this video.
Hi Adventures Unknown 101, thank you . Thanks for watching .
Nice testing Brian. Thank you for the video. The vastly different number range would take me a while to get used to. I wish you continued success and fun finding wonderful and interesting things.
Hi Anita , thank you . Thanks for watching .
Nice update Brian

Hi Shaun , thank you for watching .
Hi cypherf0x , good to know . Thanks for watching .
Hi Steve , I hope you do get some great news ! Its going to be interesting learning the new machine . Thanks for watching .
Wow good to know ! Awesome video Brian.👊
Hi J Metal Detecting , thank you . Thanks for watching .
Now that’s a free education ! Thank you
Hi Derek , you're welcome . Thank you for watching .
TID Mapping:
I find it interesting that Minelab has mapped the TID of the Equinox to the Manticore to 3-Regions.
I've calculated the Spread, percent and percent difference of the TID Regions to help show how Minelab has redistributed the Equinox TID.
Three TID Regions of the Equinox mapped to the Manticore:
Equinox TID Regions: (0 to 13), (14 to 26), (27 to 39).
TID Spread: 14, 13, 13.
Percent of TID Range: 35%, 32.5%, 32.5%
Manticore TID Regions: (0 to 29), (30 to 82), (83 to 99).
TID Spread: 30, 53, 17.
Percent of TID Range: 30%, 53%, 17%.
Percent change from Equinox: (-5%), (+20.5%), (-15.5%).
Self fusing silicon tape:
Self fusing silicon tape, I'm looking forward to your experience using it.
Grip/Handle:
As to the grip design, I'm going to experiment changing it's shape.
Coil:
I'm going to use the M8 coil for the beach.

General Summary:
The gold pendant detection distance and the milliGauss magnetic radiance distance tests both indicated a greater distance was observed with the Manticore compared to the Equinox 600.
Summary of Detection Distance, Air Test, Gold Pendent:
The Manticore had a 2” or 14.3% advantage over the Equinox 600.
Summary of Detecting the Magnetic Radiance distance (milliGauss meter):
The Manticore had a 4” or 15.4% advantage over the Equinox 600.
Assumptions:
The assumption was made that maximizing the Sensitivity (Gain) produced the deeper magnetic field. Sensitivity (Gain) only amplifies the received signal.
Recovery Speed (Power) increases the emitted magnetic field. Set Recovery Speed to '0' to maximize magnetic field radiation.
Artifact:
14 kart Gold pendent with a very large clap.
Form: Rectangle, flat with a slightly raised (convex) image.

Hi Roy , you will love the Manticore . It is very light weight . It will show up soon. Your shoulder will thank you. lol Thanks for watching .
I never knew that there was a meter that would show the signal strength. Very interesting
THANK YOU!!
Hi PedroVision , you're welcome . Thanks for watching .

Hi Tyson , thanks for watching .
@@idigdaytona4478
It is true that the type of radiation that is needed for these machines to detect buried treasure is the magnetic field portion.
If you want to see how the transmitted magnetic fields compare, then put both machines on the same frequency mode and you can see how they compare
The FCC is only interested in electrical radiation and they have set a cap for hobby equipment (no license required) for frequencies above 9kHz.
My manticore is still awaiting fulfillment :(
Not really, gold is never consistent like that.
Hi Bill , right you are . I dig everything but iron . It pays to do it . Thanks for watching .
So what is opinion on the Manticore, and the does the 2D screen help avoiding trash.
Cool video thanks
Hi Charlie , thank you for watching .
Pretty cool video! Thanks!
Hi Steve , I bumped the Manticore beach hunt till next week to put the test up . Thanks for watching .
It was actually a silver ring. Brian corrects it in his comments above.
Hi Cindy , thank you for pointing out my correction.
@@idigdaytona4478 VDI on the 700 is -19 to 99 like the Manticore.
There ya go. Thanks.
Hi Gary , thanks for watching .
I think a better comparison would be with the 700/900 and the Manticore. They are the current models of Equinox.
Hi Gary , I don't have those machines or I would have done that . I do want to check Jimmy Crossbones CTX 30 30 . Now I'm wondering if 30 inch signal is where the 30 30 name came from . That could be it. Thanks for watching .
Wow
Hi Ziska , thanks for watching .
Nice job
Hi Lisa , thank you . Thanks for watching .
Why emf bit overkill

Hi Tom , I just ran the Manticore over 5 stacked one ounce .999 gold coins . It rang up 97. It rings up high because it a big thick piece of gold . Thanks for watching .
The test is not what the discussion is about Minelab gives more power to the ground !? Also, coils are not the same .. Big Dog says only 2cm if that
Hi Dan , the Manticore did put out more signal distance than the Equinox.
Thanks for watching .
cost too much for me.
