@@raphaeloool I can: no pan/trash can snare, too atmospheric, no machine gun triplets (which literally sound like a machine gun, instead Evilwave used tonal triplets) and a too "clubby" feel... This however doesn't mean that I don't enjoy listening to it. Indeed, I like this track a lot.
I remember the days when we used to argue what was "actually dubstep" and what was "actually house/dnb/etc" because of the tempo difference. Now dubstep is described by the sound design and generalized. I just refer to it now as "heavy edm"

I respect the roots , but I also come to appreciate how far dubstep has come. Like the sounds of the traditional brostep song are very intriguing to me. I can listen to and enjoy the classics however. Like 22 Baselines. That song is very nice and is where I get most of my inspiration to make music from now.
the best dubstep songs are the ones that have drumstep tempo and chords, but have classic dubstep's wobbly basses (e.g Space Abyss (Lunar & Solar Mashup) by cubixy blue)

Yes, as I answered to some other comments it was not really my goal to cover all subgenres. tbh I didn't knew this would blow up like this, I thought I would get 500 views and thats it. So I thought about making another list with really all the subgenres of Dubstep out there, but I saw that recently another channel uploaded a pretty good one, so I don't see the necessity in making a new video. Melodic Dubstep is, according to me, from far the best dubstep subgenre. There are so many amazing tracks and DJs... So beautiful and enjoyable at the same time. One of the rare genres which practically made me cry. Melodic Dubstep is everything.

I can just say what I answered to several comments: It was never my goal to include all, I just included the ones I listen the most/like the most. But to the genres you listed: Bass House and Moombahton/Moombahcore aren't Subgenres of Dubstep. Bass House counts as a subgenre of House and Moombahton is (I think) a genre on it's own, ranged around the BPM of 90-100. But I hope you still enjoyed the video :D

And could you explain to me the exact difference between Chillstep and Liquid Dubstep? Because I didn't get it in my research.

I know that Skrillex popularized brostep. I guess that this is not really a fun fact anymore, since most people, who are just a little bit into dubstep do know this by now. Brostep is just the result of making Classic Dubstep (which I included for a good reason) more heavy and minimal in it's beats. It kinda started with the legends of Oldschool Dubstep, e.g. Skream or Benga, who made those minimalistic beats and deep fm basses. Then artists like Excision or Skrillex, to name the most popular ones, made those bass sounds heavier and going crazy with their sounddesign. I would agree, that many subgenres listed in this video wouldn't exist if dubstep didn't evolve into brostep at some point.
