This song was wartime, however yes, everyone knew what he was doing. Dislike of jews in the 1930s was standard Europe-wide, it wasnt just a Hitler thing. Britain and Germany (under Hitler) were formulating a plan together to deport all their jews to Madagascar. Many European elections were constantly contested by who has the best ideas to solve 'the Jewish problem'. France and Italy certainly were trying to keep jews out of their country. WW2 started because Hitler decided to start invading countries, not because of his dislike of jews. The actual genocide of jews only started in wartime, and that WAS a Hitler thing.
