Great GT40 racing. Just curious which cars were decked out as historical 1965-69 Ford GT? Gurney, Miles, McLaren etc

But I cannot imagine how it works? Is it with 8 seperate Slots? Or is it digital?
And if one car is out of the slot, is it out for the whole race?
Sorry it took so long to reply, MPZ. My track can run two analog cars at the same time with independent control using an AC transformer rather than a D power supply. We can run 8 cars of any make at one time. Each dri b ver has two slots cut for him around the track. One on either side of the roadway. Yes MPZ....if in a race you deslot, its treated as if you crashed out of the race.

Good question Invader. With our AC2car system we can run two cars in the same slot with totally independent control of each car. The real beauty of it is that ANY SLOT CAR OF ANY MAKE can do this with the simple addition of a $0.10 diode wired into the car! Unlike digital tracks that restrict drivers to buying the same make of car, any make of slotcar works on my track. Ocka .... I am afraid that I get carried away wanting the guys to do well. In the heat of the moment guys get to the hairpin turn and try to win the race in the first lap by ramrodding their way thru that tight turn. A crash there usually holds up cars and ruins the fun, so in my excitement I am guilty of trying to get all 8 drivers to remember they can only go thru that hairpin in single file. Yes Cameron, we race as realistically as possible so if you deslot you are out of the race. It adds a ton of tension which adds to the excitement. But guys get plenty of chances to race even if they go off because we run two hours of 2 minute 7 car heat races to get to qualify for this last 3 minute run. Exhausting but fun. Well 2264ish we do stop for pizza and pop because 2 hours of heat racing to get to this final takes a lot out of the drivers. Tension is high but everyone has fun! Yea that was me T cap. After two hours of heat racing between 18 drivers it all boiled down to this last 3 minute final. So, I was a bit cranked up to say the least. 3 drivers were being far too aggressive and I wanted them to avoid ramming a car of the course. If you haven't subscribed to Lunch King please do.
