@@Neil-Aspinall After watching their videos, it seems that they lean far too much into that element, what with their songwriting prowess and musical dexterity. I was so taken by Everything Harmony that I was willing to ignore the parodic element and let it envelop me as the modern classic it rightfully is.
Fantastic interview! Brian and Michael D'Addario are *supremely* gifted composers and musicians. I loved hearing more about their creative process. SO MUCH LOVE for The Lemon Twigs !!! ♥♥♥
Best interview with these guys I've seen. The interviewer asks insightful questions and it's great to hear a little more detail on how in-studio stuff works
I'm going to see their show in Louisville Tuesday. I saw them in Chicago in May. As great live as they are in the studio. I met them after the show, autographs. Really incredibly humble, nice guys. Extraordinarily gifted and still in their 20's.
I play/watch small victories (KEXP) on a daily basis from where I witness the greatest guitar solo of all time …( and I’m a Zappa fan !! ) I was on my holidays abroad when they performed here in uk ….doh !
Unfortunately that audio was damaged beyond repair and we had no control over the location of the interview, which made it challenging. Hope you enjoyed the conversation nonetheless.

Great to hear how and what influences their music...although sometimes I hear a likeness to the "feeling" of a song, I cant say oh yeah, that's sounds like this group or that. More Great interviews please as they're an interesting duo, especially being brothers.😊
@@gmoatpcgreat interview, Tom, thanks a lot. Because of the audio issue at the end i couldn't get to hear what bands they're currently listen, only catched "early Who singles". Would you please tell me the other ones?
I'm amazed that more people aren't excited about this band.
Because they are far too derivative almost to the point of parody.

Seems like all those nice microphones were off.

Great interview!
Excellent interview, thank you!
Great interview!
Was there any audio problem? It doesn't sound like the audio is coming from the mics. Would love to hear the version with the mics!

I want that yellow shirt. Does someone have social media to reach out and ask where he got it? Thanks
Regarding drum sound may I suggest Hal Blaine ( as if they do not know ❤️) . Hope they still find the time for having fun away from music ❤️
is this a 60's stereo album? because these vocals are weirdly hard panned
thanks
i bet they are big fans of The Raspberries.
why did you bother to set up those mics? I get a better sound from recording on my shitty android phone..
Such ashame that Brian's face is obscured by the mic.
Right he’s so beautiful. They both are
Creepy how they play dress up with Our Cultures and how we grew up
And the other guy styled like our other era Cultures
great interview! what happened to the mic audio tho?
