- James shares the gnarly noises the Eclipse is making and why. The good news is, it runs. The bad news is it needs some work. Hopefully, we can get the parts we need and get this Eclipse all squared away and ready for Race Warz.

He's got enough NOS in there to blow himself up, period!! 😂
That doesn't seem like it's enough NOS.
Now me and the mad scientist gotta rip apart the block, and replace the piston rings you fried... As any racer, and real racer, I don't matter if you win by an inch or a mile, winning's, winning. 🤣
We are lucky that 100 shot of NOS didn't blow the welds on the intake.
@@JustDriven I'll plan a vacation so I can stop by, mainly because I want to make everyone at the shop a homemade tuna sandwich with no crust and as far as drinks go, you get your choice of Corona or Corona. Your hard work needs to get awarded, Haha 😂

The purpose of the flex plate is so that Mitsubishi could assemble one type of engine for auto and manual versions. Assembly line efficiency. If I recall, you can slide the clutch on the manual and install the same as you would do an auto with torque converter.
One less step over 1000's of units...penny pinchers be pinching! Thanks for sharing!

We are limited by the budget the charity has for this build. It will be made whole with loads of original parts before it goes to the new owner.

We are building this Eclipse for national charity. We were given a budget and purchased some legit parts from the movie and we will give it the restoration and stunning paint job it deserves.

Nope. We are waiting for some time and more funds from the charity to continue. It's a bit slower but the budget is a bit tighter too. We love the Eclipse and can't wait for it see the paint booth!
