Always recommend opening faucet and checking line for any pressure/bad valve after turning off main line valve and before unscrewing line to faucet... always ever since I dealt with a bad valve and had a nightmare situation on my hands lol.
The algorithms led me to your videos, thanks to my recent Kraus Kore Workstation purchase. I loved the video! It was very helpful to see ahead of time. It also led me to realize maybe I should try to resurface or old countertops add well since I'm at it, and you made it look so easy (darn savvy diy videos making me think I can be handy too.) I am replacing all plumbing under my sink with this swap out, and was eager to see what it looked like under your sink when you were done, but it looks like that shot wasn't included. Is that something you're willing and able to share? Thanks for considering! Warm regards, A Novice Plumber
I’m happy to hear that you found the videos helpful - that’s why I love sharing my experiences. It doesn’t appear that I can share pics or video in the comments section. It was really a simple modification. I would be careful not to depart significantly from the original plumbing arrangement. If going from a two-bowl sink like I did, simply remove the section from drain/garbage disposal up to the point where they join. Replace with the same diameter pipe and keep the arrangement as simple as possible, generally following the same plumbing route. I’m sorry to have left that portion out of the video. Wishing you the very best.
Such a lovely large sink. I do a lot of cooking and washing so will look into perhaps purchasing this one day. Thank you for a great video. All the best. 👍😊
Did you use any silicone or plumber's putty under the sink edge? I didn't see you apply anything before or after, seems like a huge water seepage risk; I'm not a pro but any overmount I've installed has called for either putty or silicone under the lip before clamping then you remove excess.
Great catch! There is a bead of silicone that is placed around the perimeter on the underside of the sink. Clearly, I failed to demonstrate or mention that step in my video. Great attention to detail!😀 Thank you for watching and commenting. Wishing you the best!
I hope you enjoy the sink. You can either remove and reconfigure the drain piping to eliminate the “Y” drain connection or purchase an end cap for the unused section. Wishing you the best!
There’s simply a lot more room to work around the sink when before it’s inverted and installed. My goose required a bit of extra wrangling to install the brackets than it should have otherwise.
That’s a great question James! I haven’t noticed any difference in the offset design compared to our old center drain sink. Thanks for watching. Wishing you the best!
We are loving this sink and faucet! Really like the bottom rack but it does take more time to clean than the old sink. It’s sooo worth it though. Please let me know how your project works out. Thanks for watching and commenting. Wishing you the best!
How is the sink holding up now? I saw mostly positive reviews, but did see a handful complaining of rust. Have you had any issues with that? Thanks for the video!!
It’s holding up great! Obviously the in-sink rack adds to a thorough cleanup but it’s not a lot of extra effort and it’s well worth it in my opinion. Thanks for watching and commenting. Wishing you the best!

You don’t put Teflon tape on a supply line, it’s not doing anything. But more importantly it’s against code to hardwire a disposal. Thanks for the video I am considering buying this sink, it’s good to see it outside of a photo.
What disposal did you get? There’s no link for that in the caption :-) Also, did you have to buy a disposal sink drain or did yours come with it? I just bought the same sink but i need to replace the disposal as well
Just came back from HD with an amazing headache since I was trying to figure this out myself. Thanks DIY guy (aka Jeff)! You just made my day!
Wow! So happy to hear!... not the headache part, of course. Please share how things work out for you. Thank you for watching and commenting!
I just had a Kraus sink installed and love it
So happy to hear that. Thank you watching and commenting. Wishing you the best!
Beautiful sink and you did an excellent job!
Thank you for watching and for the kind words!

Great tip! Thank you. Wishing you the best!
This is a very helpful video, a great help in planning the sequence. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!

You didn't put any silicon around the edge of the sink. It keeps water from going under the sink and helps hold the sink in place.
Good catch. I did silicone but it wasn’t captured on video. Thanks for watching!
Can you use the strainer that comes with the sink along with the disposal? I was told you cannot. I liked the strainer/stopper included with sink.
Absolutely. It should fit.
No, I don’t believe you can use the strainer with the sink. Kraus sells a separate strainer for a disposal.
Thanks for the suggestion to donate things to ‘Habitat For Humanity’. Love the idea.
Thank you for watching and commenting. Wishing you the best!
where did you put the on / off switch for the garbage disposal
The Kraus website calls for a bead of silicone under the sink before it is tightened down. I didn't see that you did that...?

@@RegularGuyDIY nice I didn't notice that, great video either way and I love my single bowl!
Bought the same sink!! Also going from a double to a single sink, what piece do I use to cap the other drain pipe?
I hope you enjoy the sink. You can either remove and reconfigure the drain piping to eliminate the “Y” drain connection or purchase an end cap for the unused section. Wishing you the best!
Amazing
i didnt quite get what the problem was installing the faucet before the sink brackets. Did I miss a problem with that?
There’s simply a lot more room to work around the sink when before it’s inverted and installed. My goose required a bit of extra wrangling to install the brackets than it should have otherwise.
How efficient is the water drain with the offset design on this model sink versus a center drain?
That’s a great question James! I haven’t noticed any difference in the offset design compared to our old center drain sink. Thanks for watching. Wishing you the best!
How’s everything working so far? Any complaints/suggestions. Looking to take out old double sink for single sink

what is your new sink size?
No sealant used around the sink rim?
