Beautiful even without sound. I know you were bummed out, but im sure the crowd was hyped. Someone surely recorded the whole thing, youll get your luck back.
I'm glad you got to light it up even when things didn't go as planned at first and then experienced technical issues during. I'm sure people enjoyed it there.
Great show, gets crazy about the 17:00 mark, wow !! Damn Cody, that was a Top notch show, very professional setup and execution of the pyrotechnics......You Rock man.
Amazing setup pics, and that fake finale idea gets em everytime! Thanks for explaining everything and the stages everything will go thru.... nice how you got hand fire stuff in case of no sky fill etc / dead zone coverage
This firework display was set up, filmed, and produced by my fiancé and I on July 4th. The show was cancelled and delayed until the 5th due to weather. We put this show on for the residents of Harrisburg, SD. I would like to give a big thank you to Presley and his dad from “The Fireworks Outlet” in Tea, SD for all their help and contributions made to this display! Another shoutout to “Konnor Leerek” for giving me the idea to set up the hand firing station like you see in the video. Hope you all enjoyed and don’t mind the audio failure, soon we will have more clips and/or better ways of recording our displays. I apologize and this will never happen again!
dude, that is an awesome setup...bummer about the sound but pyro first filming second is how i roll!!! your show was amazing man...congrats!!! i uploaded mine last night!
Perfect way to say it. Last 4th some dude started lighting shells after my show and so I lit a cake. Then he lit NOAB and I shut him up with salute rockets. He didn’t fire anything else.
That was really cool Cody!!! Over here we have a fire in the sky event on the 21st so I’ll send you the video over Instagram!!!! Keep up the great work
Thanks for the reply on Monday I'm learning from your channel rookie here, question why the reason in using your own mortar racks ? And why only hand fire ?
Nice SET UP! Be honest with ya most important part for us pyros is hearing you talk through the shoot site! We all know what fireworks sound like! You and your fiance did a fantastic job! stupid Bluetooth! Lol 👊😉
Love the channel. Always tune in and watch your show since Hawaii can’t have these fireworks anymore since 2000 cause there’s been too many people that either died or badly injured from these fireworks. I look forward to popping these fireworks with my dad when i was a kid before they became illegal. Been thinking about moving to the mainland just so I can be a kid again haha.
Get your type 54. Looks like you have space to use it. Don’t buy the 2” and 3” finale cakes the fireworks companies are just ripping you off because inside that 2 or3 inch shell is an 1 3/4” shell because 2 And 3 inch shells require an ATF explosives license. Nice show!!
CodyBPyrotechnics No I just wanted my 54 and I build. We shot a couple of big shows, some 1.4 and mostly 1.3 shows at home and a couple all 1.3 wedding shows for nephews and niece. The money for 1.3 is comparable to 1.4 but you get a ton more value. I can buy 72 3” shells for about $160.00 compared to 80 or 90 for 24 excels. The equipment is kinda expensive mortars and wood for racks but you keep it. The insurance is high till you can buy it from your importer. I recommend joining a pyro club because they or the importer will have training, and you can shoot or at least setup with the clubs. Once you get a license you can buy product and shoot at open shoots where the permit and insurance is paid for. You shoot what you buy. That is the cheapest way to do it. Fireworks stores know their customers know less than their salespeople that’s why they bone you because they can. I like to go and mess with the sales staff. Fun. Good luck.
Don’t tell your wife my name unless she’s a pyro too. Mine is. Just looked up a price, you can get 25 shot actual 2” cakes for $125.00 and the bullshit 2 and 3 inch are $110.00. If you have any questions let me know I’ll get an answer if I don’t have it.
Doug McMullen Are the measurements the height of the shell or the diameter? I've seen consumer shells in the store labeled 5", but that was definitely referring to the height of the shell. I'm also interested in getting a 54, but it seems that requires me to operate a business, which I don't know if there any other requirements for registering that or what, but I'm not entirely certain I want to even operate as a business. Can that be as simple as advertising firework shows for people? Or is there more to it?
MasterChief0522 There is very little truth in advertising in consumer fireworks. As for the type 54 you just have to pretend like it’s a business. If you have or know someone with property you can shoot your own shows. As for shooting shows for money, depending what state you live in that’s usually a can of worms you don’t want to open. That’s due to certain shooter certifications and a shit ton of insurance and equipment. Even though the type 54 allows you to shoot commercial shows, it really doesn’t. My suggestion is to join a fireworks club or guild that has building as well as shoots. Also an importer that has open shoots is good. All you have to do is buy the product and the insurance, permit and equipment (mortars and racks) are available to use. Those are the only affordable ways to shoot 1.3 unless you’re rich. If I can help with more information let me know.
I have money saved up to by myself a truck. Same model as yours. But mine is gonna be newer.. 2017 F150.. should be about 15k when I buy it in 2022 or 2021.. insurance is gonna be insane.. RIP
What's your main reason for getting it? The room or the ability to haul stuff in the back? Neighbor had an older ranger and he hauled like 3600 pounds of brick in the back. V6 so insurance would be cheap.
I just want to do shows with no problem loading a ton of racks in the back. I'm getting the Supercab version so I can carry the 1.4g explosives in the little area behind me. I'm getting the V8 version..
CodyBPyrotechnics I really like fireworks yours is pretty decent compared to others it would cost a bit to actually create a show, good job on the show I bet it would look better in real life wish I was there.
That ending! A pyro will always enjoy! Sick video Cody. I would go but I’m all the way in south California lmfao
That’s a huge setup! amazing finale and nice body of the show.
Beautiful even without sound. I know you were bummed out, but im sure the crowd was hyped. Someone surely recorded the whole thing, youll get your luck back.
Nicely done, specially for hand lit. It feels weird watching fireworks with no sound. Lol.
Yeh mate I agree it was weird without the sound but I liked it 😆
Beautiful. Professional setup!! Nice work Brother!
I'm glad you got to light it up even when things didn't go as planned at first and then experienced technical issues during. I'm sure people enjoyed it there.
Thank you!

I could care less about the sound, cause true pyro's know what this display sounds like, and you and your fiancee did an absolute beautiful job!
Thanks man I appreciate the comment!
Great show, gets crazy about the 17:00 mark, wow !! Damn Cody, that was a Top notch show, very professional setup and execution of the pyrotechnics......You Rock man.
Don't go telling him that. He's a thin man... A big head wouldn't suit his figure 🤷🏼♂️😂 lol I joke but it was a dope show

No problem! I appreciate your info and it probly saved me a major complication in the future. Thanks again! I was hoping you’d see this lol
CodyBPyrotechnics I’m subbed so I should see most of your videos from now on
I love this
Sweet show
I dreamed of becoming a pyrotech
Competition always makes it more fun. Especially when you can blow their doors off
Perfect way to say it. Last 4th some dude started lighting shells after my show and so I lit a cake. Then he lit NOAB and I shut him up with salute rockets. He didn’t fire anything else.
Awesome video. Enjoyed it anyway. You did a great job

Thanks for the reply on Monday I'm learning from your channel rookie here, question why the reason in using your own mortar racks ? And why only hand fire ?
Great display bro ..awesome job

Nice video and Happy 4th.
Loving those willows at 12:30
That looks awesome
Your choice of fireworks is excellent Cody, like can I have a list of em for my show?
All of them should be listed in my stash video from 2018 bro!
My phone did this before on a video sucks when it dont record the sound but still a nice show man
Still a solid show even without audio
Hand light Is the best!
I totally agree
Still a good vid dawg
Badass bro thanks for sharing👍
Great show man
Nice SET UP! Be honest with ya most important part for us pyros is hearing you talk through the shoot site! We all know what fireworks sound like! You and your fiance did a fantastic job! stupid Bluetooth! Lol 👊😉
Thanks bro I appreciate the comment and glad you enjoyed regardless of audio!
This is dope I don’t care what other people say
Thanks bro I appreciate that!
I can still hear the breaks without the sound . You can use your imagination or actually listen closely it’s almost like a hearing test
awesome show man!
Freakin awesome! What kind of pvc are you using for the tubes? Or is it corrugated cardboard?
HDPE
insane videos buddy, I could really use your help
What you need help with?
Hey I want to know if you can make some more fireworks videos for the next year's 4th of July 2019 :-) ?
Yes I can!
How do you do it to transport all those Fireworks with out any legal issues?
I live in a very conservative area of the USA, most people don’t care what goes on lol
You said you can get the mortars for cheap, where at? Just a fireworks superstore, and ask for mortars without the tubes?
rev9fan1 wholesale, wfboom, etc
elijah ah thank you for the correction, I always thought the projectile shot from the tube was a mortar...my lack of military experience shows 🤣
Nice setup
Is that all 1.4 product? Plus some salutes?
Yep everything is 1.4 plus some bonus booms lol
Love the channel. Always tune in and watch your show since Hawaii can’t have these fireworks anymore since 2000 cause there’s been too many people that either died or badly injured from these fireworks.
I look forward to popping these fireworks with my dad when i was a kid before they became illegal.

Do you use a firing system or hand light
Hand light
Always turn off BT when exiting ur vehicle thats what i do
Something's wrong with the audio
Nice
Might be time to get an electric fire system
I don’t like firing systems, less adrenaline

I know they are mostly a scam so I try to buy the good ones lol thanks for the tip man! Do you have a display company?
CodyBPyrotechnics No I just wanted my 54 and I build. We shot a couple of big shows, some 1.4 and mostly 1.3 shows at home and a couple all 1.3 wedding shows for nephews and niece. It felt like I surely went deaf once the sound cut out. I hope I never experience that again. 😪
Should get an electronic igniter
I don’t like them, less adrenaline rush
That’s why you have multiple cameras. Buy more cameras instead of fireworks 😉
I have money saved up to by myself a truck. Same model as yours. But mine is gonna be newer.. 2017 F150.. should be about 15k when I buy it in 2022 or 2021.. insurance is gonna be insane.. RIP

Cant watch fireworks with no sound
Me either, sorry bud
NO SOUND
I have seen better but sucks that there's no sound
You’ve probly seen better yes, but handfiring the entire display you must give me credit. Most operators use firing systems, I do not.
CodyBPyrotechnics I really like fireworks yours is pretty decent compared to others it would cost a bit to actually create a show, good job on the show I bet it would look better in real life wish I was there.
