Love it! You’ll have so much fun with that. I’m part way through restoring a classic Mercedes motorhome at the moment but when that’s done I’ve got my daughter’s Vauxhall Vivaro to convert and then my Citroen Relay to do. Gonna be a busy summer lol. Enjoy the fruits of your labour now you deserve it 👍 👍 Best wishes 😊 PS. Every van has to have a name….. 😉
Great idea with all that storage. Just wondering how it will stand up against MOT if the vehicle is registered as a 4 seater. My last mot was ok as rock and roll bed is metal with seatbelt points. You may need to change vehicle documentation and insurance to a 2 x seater. But really I am not sure. Anyway happy Adventures. From George and Jane
@@samfletcher222 it's a standard double bed size, no seat belts to check. Just tell insurance that it's only 2 seater as back seats and seats belts have been removed. No problem with MOT.
@@samfletcher222 lovely to drive as there auto. I think the diesel have more power. Check the cost of insurance, before you buy. If you're looking at private sellers. Look for rust, as they all suffer with this (badly) don't trust a newly MOTed one. Fresh import from a Japanese importer would be a great option. Check water to make sure it's clear, well it should be pink antifreeze. Easy to maintain even with little to no experience of work on vans/cars. Plenty of UA-camrs that have made handy videos. Join the Mazda bongo Facebook group, lots of helpful people out there. If you get one, get out and enjoy the freedom. ✌️😜
@@SheDigsitUK thanks for info advice and enthusiasm ,the size of em is bang on especially single track roads and out the way places big vans wont make 😄
@@SheDigsitUK lol ,had similar tips from a enthusiastic owner, who ditched all his cars and just uses the bongo ,he loves his and he owned some very nice cars ,hes like me recently retired and he just gets in and gets on tour brilliant, last year was quoted £900 for a stay in a hotel down south got in the bongo and campsite cost him £159,his bongo is mint with all the mod cons ,for myself a large comfy bed is tops and your idea of table camping stove is enough, wetherspoons would be first choice ,or greggs for bacon sarnie cup of tea deal maybe 2 of as well lol ,thanks for reply and glad your still enjoying the bongo 😁
@@samfletcher222That's good to hear. I have just got myself a bluetti power bank. It's great, portable and runs everything for 3 days without charging. Toastie maker, George foreman, fridge and anything else you feel you need with you. Love my bongo and I'm sure if you find one within your price range. You will also love it. ✌️
